Chapter 39

(F/N) and Lucifer disappeared from the shrine where Akeno was at, and then reappeared in a new area. The air felt different, mountains were raised high, and the howls of unstoppable winds could be heard loudly. Restless winds could be felt, even by the pair of men that had made their way to the realm.

"Come! We're not far from their lair!" Lucifer shouted over the sound of the wind. (F/N) held his arms up to keep any dust and debris that might be blowing through. He and Lucifer trudged forth, walking down a path set before them in their attempt to reach their lair.

Along the way, (F/N) pictured what the lair may look like, thinking it might better prepare him for what will happen; will it be a simple cave, with different paths leading to dens where the succubi sap the energy from their prey? Will it be a large, looming castle? A Japanese shrine like the one he and Lucifer were in? (F/N) went so far as to try and picture what the succubi may look like, but his thoughts were cut short.

"We made it!" (F/N) looked up and through the wind, viewing the lair the succubi dwell, and there he saw;

"A...diner!?" (F/N) asked, looking up at the head of Hell.

"Come on! It'll make sense when we get inside!" Him and (F/N) hurried the rest of the way, running up to the door and opening it up. Once inside, and the door closed, the wind stopped. (F/N) got a look at the interior; many Devils of all kinds were at the bars and seats, dining on food and chatting it up with the waitresses. The waitresses, speaking of which, were all dressed scantily; small skirts, button-up shirts that showed off their midriff, some with aprons to appeal to certain types of people in the bar. Many of the Devils that were inside tensed up when they saw Lucifer, and they each continued with what they were doing, hoping that he wasn't there for them.

"So...a diner?" (F/N) asked again. Lucifer approached the counter where patrons pay, and the lady greeted him kindly.

"Welcome, Sir Lucifer," she said, bowing to him. "Or would you like to go by Sirzechs Gremory?" Lucifer held his hand up.

"I'm here to speak with your manager," he said. There was a collective groan throughout the entire diner, some rolling their eyes at the head of Hell himself. Lucifer rolled his eyes in response, before he leaned forward. "Not like that," he replied. "It's Devil business that involves her..." he looked at the other patrons of the place and then leaned forward so only she could hear him, "it involves her brother." The lady relaxed, and nodded her head, stepping away from the register and disappearing into the back. (F/N) took this chance to look around, while they waited for Satana. After having seen that things weren't as bad as Lucifer was going to make it, some of the girls were starting to approach them. (F/N) stuck close to Lucifer.

"Well well~" A voice said, approaching (F/N). It was one of the girls in the diner, but she had long, blue hair, a pair of wings on her back and her head, a top that showed shoulders a nice amount of cleavage, and a little heart window a bit below her chest to show more skin. She also wore pink tights with purple bats decorated. "What brings a child such as yourself here?~" She looked at (F/N) with a sultry look, which seemed to be the case with every other succubus in this diner. (F/N) could hear a groan from the Rider, and something familiar about the lady in front of (F/N).

"I'm uh..." (F/N) began as he tried to keep distance from her, but she would get closer.

"Has the great Lucifer decided to help you lose something?~" She placed a finger on her chin, eyeing the boy from top to bottom. She licked her lips with anticipation, but as she did more girls started to swarm around (F/N), each eyeing him interest.

"I haven't gotten a human in a while, lemme take this one~"

"Over my dead body, he's mine~" (F/N) was being surrounded, and even Lucifer attempted to shield him. (F/N) thought about bringing the Rider out, just to scare them, until...
