The name "Lillith" sounded familiar to (F/N). It was the "I've seen their name" kind of familiar. (F/N) turned his head and let his mind wander.

"Lillith...Lillith...Lillith," he said over and over, muttering to himself, before he remembered something. Lillith was a horror story told to him and Asia when they were young. He didn't remember the story, but he always had to remember the lesson that the story told; always stick with a trusted adult.

I can understand your need to tell the authorities, the voice spoke as (F/N) rode his way back home, the sun beginning to set over the horizon, marking the end of the day. However, a Fallen Angel is extremely dangerous. If you were to send the police to fetch her, then you would be sending them to their death. (F/N) didn't say anything in response to the creature, only keeping to his thoughts. Which is why you must turn back! (F/N) quickly swerved into the nearest alley and parked his bike. He got up in a huff and approached a puddle on top of a barrel. He looked at the reflection, as if to speak to the creature.

"Look, I don't know about you, but I have a life! I just found out my friends are Devils, my sister keeping secrets from me, and now I'm likely going to get killed because of what you've done!" (F/N) grabbed the edge of the barrel and took a deep breath.

When you made that deal, that put you underneath the will of the one who made it. You are his servant, and he seems to deem it fit that I share this body with you. You agreed to the terms.

"But I don't know the terms!"

Even more so, you are stuck with me. I could take control of your body right now and take care of it myself, but I've been patient with you. You know what will happen if you just decide to ignore it!

"I'm not ignoring Lillith," (F/N) replied, "but think about this for a minute. What if you died fighting her? That would mean that I would die, yes? And if I die, then that would mean that Asia loses someone close to family."

And yet you hesitate to trust her now. You hesitate to be near her.

"I know, it's just..." (F/N) trailed off in thought for a moment, as his mind traced back to the good moments he had with Asia, before they got to Kuou. The smiles, her cheerful attitude.

I see... The creature replied. Fine. I'll allow you to have dinner with these people. But afterwards, you must go and stop Lillith! You will feel my wrath if you fail to uphold your end of the bargain. (F/N) nodded, looking at his reflection again, before he hopped back on his bike and rode off again.

After he reached the house again, he entered through the door and looked around. There, he could see that everyone was moving to the dining room table. Mrs. Hyoudou heard the door open, as if with her enhanced, motherly hearing. She poked her head from around a corner and looked towards the entrance.

"(F/N)!" She greeted, approaching him and quickly wrapping her arms around his body, holding him close. (F/N) was surprised to feel her warm hug on his body, as well as a bit weird, given that they're not really related. Mrs. Hyoudou quickly realized what she was doing, and backed away, placing her hands on his shoulders. "S-Sorry. I'm just glad to see that you're okay. When Asia told me you went off on your own, I got worried when the sun was going down. Come on, we were just about to eat dinner." She led (F/N) into the dining room. The table was set, Mr. Hyoudou had set his newspaper down to the side and prepared a napkin. Asia was helping with the plates, and Issei was salivating over the cooking, some done by his mother and Asia. "Do you think you could sit next to Issei and make sure he's not doing anything weird to Asia?"

"Huh!?" Issei said in response as he heard his mother's request. (F/N), on instinct, nodded his head and took a seat next to Issei, leaving the girls to finish preparations, and then they took a seat.
