The next day rolled around, and the Hyoudou household was...empty. Asia wasn't feeling so well, after what had transpired, and she hadn't come out of her room, and Issei was missing throughout the entire day. The parents were very concerned, while the father tried to assure his wife that he was probably out with Rias and staying with her. But with how long he has been out, their own worry was beginning to take a toll on them, and remind them of a past they didn't want to relive.

For (F/N), it was weird to wake up in a new room. Not to mention waking up in a room with a girl. Though he was admittedly smelly, after running and leaving abruptly, he didn't have time to take a shower. However, it wasn't important to him; it was how he was going to go about finding Samael and preventing him from getting the book that he was so desperate to get his hands on. Who could he turn to? He got an idea on who Samael was, thanks to Saeki, but it didn't answer as to how strong he was, nor where he established himself. He was going to have to do something. Two options came to mind; either go back and ask Rias and the others, or ask the man who he made a deal with. The former idea wasn't possible now, thanks to his outburst and what he said, and the latter wasn't as favorable because he would just be in deeper debt to him than he is now.

When he arrived at school, he was different from before, and some of the other students noticed it. He barely spoke, all his conversations he would have with the Rider was all going to be mental. They went over the different plans and ideas, pondering what it was they could do to draw out his person.

Perhaps if we track down Wormwood and get him to talk, we might find him, the Rider mused.

During lunch, (F/N) got a headstart over his friends and took a spot on the roof, sitting down and talking to the Rider.

How are you sure Wormwood is who we need to find?

Him and Abaddon worked together to draw us out. If the two of them are working together, then it's likely that they were partnered together to serve Samael. And with Abaddon gone, that means the only other person serving Samael, that we know of at this point, is Wormwood.

And this Wormwood?

He is a Fallen Angel who is said to bring plagues upon the Earth. He is one spoken of in the Book of Revelations.

So he could kill everyone on Earth if he wanted to, right?

There's a caveat. If he were to do it before the appointed time, then his death would cure everyone of the plagues he has caused.

And then there would be no more plagues?

Plagues caused by him. There are still the natural plagues that you humans can contract.

Got it, (F/N) let out a sigh and looked out and over at the rest of the school. The students gathered up together, talking to each other and hanging out, eating their lunch without a worry in the world. With how much his world has changed, he felt out of place. A demon in a school full of humans.

"I'm serious! I read it in a magazine!" (F/N) heard, causing him to turn his head to look; it was Minase and Imari, walking out onto the roof with their lunches. It was Imari who was trying to convince Minase of something. "There's been proof of a time traveling detective!"

"Imari, that's not magazines, those are tabloids. They're just made up stuff that try to get people's attention and take their money," Minase replied. "Even Saeki shot down the idea of a 'shark girl from Atlantis'. It's all made up." Imari made a pouty face, feeling the urge to stomp her foot, before the two of them noticed (F/N) was already on the roof. They stood here for a moment, before Imari ran up to him.
