After a nice, little talk in the restaurant, (F/N) and Akeno left. Skipping dessert, they settled on what they ate, paid for it, and headed off. (F/N) felt that the Rider would be happy to let him start up his bike, but he settled on walking next to Akeno, talking about their school life so far and what Akeno's done for her "club activities". The more they talked, the closer they got.
The Rider paid attention as close as he could, keeping an eye on the two of them as they talked. Slowly, he could feel that what (F/N) believed to be him keeping tabs on their movements were more like he just wanted to be as close to Akeno as he could, letting his youthful hormones take full control of his body, while his brain just came up with excuses. However, something caught his attention as they continued walking along the sidewalk, focusing more on each other than the surroundings. Walking down the same street as they were was a man. He was taller than (F/N), a visible, black beard on his chin, and eyes staring intently at the two of them. The Rider could feel that this person wasn't human, or Devil. The only other option being a Fallen Angel. But he appeared to be of no threat to him, nothing to alert his "sin meter", or raise any flag that he might've done something guilty in the past.
Before the Rider could alert (F/N) to the knowledge of someone tailing them, he noticed something else. Something that seemed to supersede the fact of someone watching them: sinners. Across the street, in an alleyway towards a darker part of town, were a few men scouting out the people in the area, looking towards whoever seemed like easy money to them. This led the Rider to giving (F/N) a headache, an indication of someone who committed guilty crimes. But rather than (F/N) simply taking care of them, he also had to factor Akeno in. If she were to find out, it's bye-bye to (F/N), and the Rider's temporary end of his vengeance.
"Are you okay?" Akeno asked, referring to (F/N)'s headache. (F/N) held his head on instinct, feeling his heart sink. He's grown to know what a headache means when he's in a public area. The Rider made sure that he'd know. But in this instance he was silent. Was it someone (F/N) already knew?
He was having such a good time, having the ability to be around Akeno, that he didn't want any sinners, or people who deserve the guilty judgment from the Rider, to mess it up. He looked over at her.
"Uh, yeah. I'm fine," he said, trying to appear normal. He powered through the headache. "Hey, uh, how about I show you some of the stunts I used to do?" He asked, gripping the handlebar of the bike tight, in the attempt to numb the pain, or divert his attention away from it.
"Are you sure?" Akeno asked, tilting her head. "I thought you'd want to stop because it makes Asia worry."
"Well, what she doesn't know won't hurt her, right?" (F/N) asked, putting on a big smile and chuckling softly, in the attempts to persuade Akeno to his side. Akeno looked between him and the bike he was pushing.
Would it even start? Akeno asked herself, before looking back up at (F/N), who just continued smiling. In his eyes, she could picture the roughed up little boy, who would get into all sorts of trouble from doing stupid stunts. Bandage on his cheek and elbow, a big toothy grin to show he was okay, and that laugh following afterward. With that, she nodded her head.
"Alright, hot shot," Akeno said, lightly bumping her hips against his. "Show me what you got."
They made their way out of the city, and towards an open patch of land where construction would happen. There were no equipment or girders, no wood beams for the forms, but there were gravel piles, set there so they would spread it out for the concrete. They hurried over, past a sign that basically told them what company funded and reserved the plot for their building.
Akeno took a seat at the edge of the dug out area, watching as (F/N) mounted his bike, his head free of the ache, and he kick-started it. It came to life beneath him, roaring and puffing some smoke out of the exhaust. He chuckled as he watched it, sitting on the seat and moving forward. He started to build up speed, turning once he reached the edge of the dug out plot. He kept his eyes forward, watching the edge of the dug out plot. He then twisted the handlebar, and reared the bike upwards. Once the front wheel was off of the ground, the bottom wheel spun harder. (F/N) wheelied the bike as he passed by Akeno, looking over at her and watching as she applauded him. It was a regular applaud, no excitement whatsoever. A basic stunt on a basic bike. His bottom wheel hit a rock, which sent the adrenaline through his body to try and balance himself. In his self-preservation instinct, he leaned forward and brought the bike on two wheels, turning around and passing by Akeno again, going a bit slower so that he could hear Akeno.
