Sylvia's POV

Lalo naman ako naguluhan sa inaakto ni Elise. She's really been sweet these past few days which made me think that it was weird— I felt like because of her recent actions there's going to be an aftermath.

Pero sandali ko munang iwinaksi iyon sa utak ko, I need to focus on what's in front of me right now. I need to be friendly towards the water once again just like the old times. I'm not saying rhat my condition during the practice and training wasn't good. But iba parin kapag mismong nasa harapan mo na.

The game started, I mentally smirked when I got the right starting point and I also ignored the death glares that I got from her. If she thinks that she can be able to stop me again from winning this competition, then doon siya nag kakamali. 

Since I have a strange habit that I'm not taking a break to breathe in order to maximize my fully potential— I had no choice but to do it even if it means that I get drowned, this technique had become one of the dangerous strategies as a freestyle swimmer. This is not recommended and definitely not advisable, but it felt like I needed to.

When I got into the end after taking my turn, I pour all of my strength to reach the ending line. I felt the tiles between the end of my fingertips, as I swallowed my pride to gasped for more air. Agad kong nilingon ang orasan, my heart was pounding too fast, minulat ko ng mabuti ang mga mata ko until my eyes widen- only to found out....

That I got the first place! It was a new record break for my part because I got 10 seconds faster than before!

Wala sa sarili akong napasigaw at hindi sinasadyang tabingin ang tubig, hindi ko narin pinansin kung pano ako titigan ng masama na nasa likod ko lamang. But then I saw on the side— the vice captain trying to reach out for my hand para tulungan akong makaahon kaya agad kong tinanggap iyon.

"Captain! Ang galing mo!"

"Congrats Capt! Di ka na maabot!"

"Ayan buti nga sa mga inuuna ang bunganga! Paa at kamay kasi ginagamit sa pag langoy hindi bibig!" Sigaw nung isa at nagulat pa ako nang bigla itong mag middle finger na patago kaya agad ko iyon tinapik.

"Kung saan-saan kasi sumisisid!" Binatukan ko yung isa pang humabol na halatang pinaparinggan nila si Ara.

Nakita ko naman ang paglapit nila Lydia papunta saakin na may dala pang jacket na pinasuot sakin, at si Lucas na merong hawak na bouquet of red roses na ikinagiwi ko.

"Dalaga ka na! Congrats, Sylvia!" Napilitan akong tanggapin yun at sinamaan siya ng tingin.

"Epal ka talaga no?" Asik ko sakanya. Alam na alam nilang ayaw ko sa flowers dahil masyadong girly pero nang aasar talaga, though I appreciate it.

"Galing talaga yan kay Miss Elise." Sabat ni Regina na nakangisi.

Tila nabuhayan naman ang loob ko. "Talaga?"

"Sa lalake niya talaga yan galing, pinasa lang sayo imbis na itapon para recycle." Nangaasar na sambit ni Portia na ikinairap ko.

"Just think about it, the cost of that flowers reflects on how she feels for you." Karma added while smirking.

"Translate it into tagalog." Zianna said.

"Alin? Na mahal ito ganon? Bilhan ko pa siya ng milyon na ganito eh."

Nilingon ko naman ang likuran nila, tanging si Miss Veronica lang ang nakita ko. Hindi ko alam kung bakit bigla ako nawalan ng gana na dapat naman ay masaya ako ngayon dahil sa wakas ay nakamit ko na ang panibagong yugto ng goals ko.

"Where is she?" Tanong ko habang hinahanap parin siya.

"She said that she have to go somewhere else, but she will be with you later for your date raw." Lydia answered while giving me a teasing smile.
