"I doubt that you do Nova." Josh and I jumped to the sound of his voice behind us. He was completely shirtless, his pants were unbuckled and sagging.
"You told her?" Josh nodded.
"Vin you smell fucking nasty. Did you drink?"
"He drinks?" I asked.
"And what? You going to leave?" He said, slowly walking towards me.
"You're hung over. Aren't you?" I asked as Josh left the room, unnoticed.
"Now, you know another part to my fucked up life. The scar that will probably be here for the rest of my damn life." He said as he fell into my lap.
"Come on. I'll take care of you. Mel, can you give Lia a shower in her bathroom?" I pleaded. She shouted yes and I dragged him to my bathroom in my room.
I took off my clothes, wrapping myself in a towel. I slowly slid off his pants and took off his boxers. I blushed as I heard him chuckle, I looked up and he was standing straight. He fell onto me and I dragged him yet again to the toilet. He released his system and brushed his teeth. I closed the bathroom door and took off the towel hanging it up. He looked at me dazed, I turned on the showerhead to a moderately warm temperature.
"You promise not to leave?" He asked.
"I'm not going anywhere.." I told him softly.
We both entered the shower, as I got the sponge filling it with Dove liquid soap. I kissed his forehead as he looked down at our feet. He slowly set his hands on my hips, like in a way as if he was scared. I gave a small smile because I knew exactly what he was feeling. I never had someone look at my body before, he was the first. I didn't know where this was going, but all I know was that he knew that I wasn't going anywhere.
"Why are you taking care of me?" Vincent asked sternly.
"Because you don't know how it feels like to be taken care of. I would like to show you." I said as I stepped closer to him and he gasped.
I lathered him in bubbles, it started to get really moist in here. But, I didn't mind; he didn't seem to mind either. The soapy bubbles decided to share from his body to mine and I gave another small smile. He gently took the loofah from me, turning me around, having one hand set on my hip and washing my back. I soon realized a pattern that he did, it was like he was writing into my skin. He repeatedly went from the left side to my neck, to the back of it, drawing small infinity signs all across my back until it was completely covered, then the same thing with the opposite side of my neck. I, then turned around to look at his face and his eyes were red as if he was crying. But, I couldn't tell because water hit his face and tears blended in so perfectly. He silently asked for my legs and he did the same with the infinity signs. I grabbed his face because he was so focused on washing my body, rather than trying to get the sexual frustration out.
"Vincent.." He finally looked at me, in my eyes.
"Yes, Givoanna?" He said my full name, I bucked my head backwards in shock.
"You never call me my full name. Ever since the day we officially met."
"I know, I just wanted to give it a try."
"Are you sure about that? What's the real reason?" I asked as I rinsed my body off.
"I just don't understand why you would stay with me even after this. My lifestyle is something no one should be in, yet here you are. Standing here all beautiful and wet, just looking at me and the fact that you are just being comfortable with me and accepting me as I am means everything. I just want to cherish this moment and not ruin it with sex. I want to admire your body and appreciate how you shown it to me even though you wanted to wait until marriage."
"That's probably the most sincere thing, I've heard you say." I said softly.
"Because I mean every word. I've never had someone try and care for me like you did."
"I'm not the girls you're used to."
"And I'm thankful for the change." He kissed my forehead and continued to take his shower as I took mine, smiling.
We both walked out of the shower, hand in hand, smiling at each other. Me, mainly blushing at his body. The scar only made him look more manly in my opinion. It was clearly a deep wound, but it seemed like it would recover soon enough. The scar ran from his right side to about his V line, meaning that the person was trying to kill him.
I thought for a minute. If she was drunk and trying to kill him, she couldn't have been so accurate to cut him. Meaning she had the intention to kill him, she had to be around his height or a little shorter to try and stab him. I looked at the scar in a unnoticeable way and realized that if he really did get into a fight with a drunk woman, why couldn't he run away from her? All this wasn't adding up to me, Josh's story wasn't making sense at all when I think about it. I am going to kill Joshua.
"Why do you have your face like that?" He laughed, but held his head.
"I didn't even know I was doing that. I was thinking about something." I smiled.
"You must really want those frown lines, huh?" I laughed and smiled at him, as we met halfway for a quick kiss.
"Still feeling sick?" I asked.
"Yeah, I can't laugh too much. I just want to lie down and cuddle with you."
"Vincent, I have homework. I got school tomorrow too. Oh shit, how am I going to get to school?"
"Josh and I will both take turns dropping you and Melanie off. Stop worrying so much." He said as he gave me a heart warming smile, that I couldn't help myself but to smile back.
"There's my Vincent." I said while he blushed, but acted as if it was never happening.
We both walked downstairs, hand in hand, Lia was with Mel on the couch and once she saw us together, she jumped off and ran towards us.
"Mommy! Daddy!" She said but ran into my arms while Vincent gave her a kiss and she giggled.
"Yo, Vin. Can I talk to you alone? Just for a second?" He said with clenched teeth.
Josh is a pretty playful person and I have nevee seen him more angry in my days of knowing him. He looked at Vincent as if the world came crashing down and he caused it. Mel and I both looked at each other in curiosity. Vincent looked at me for conformation, I smiled and nodded at him as he gave me a kiss. God, did I miss those lips of his. They went through the screen door to the backyard and I looked at them talking. Josh seemed angry and started to take off his shirt. Vincent stood there, patiently. We heard a knock on the door and Mel ran asking who is it. Josh came through the door with groceries in his hands and kissed Mel's forehead. Mel and I both looked confused and came to a realization that this is going to go bad.
