We spent the whole night talking about ourselves, I didn't even notice that it was 6am in the morning, Amelia slept through the night at ease as long as I was calm and didn't move too much or else she would groan.

Ice's real name is Tristan Everfold, born March 2nd which made sense to me considering the fact that I am a Cancer and we get along pretty great. He hates almost everything I do, but he loves being annoying and he can be especially when I got silent and would just stare at Amelia in admiration. But, he would smile and just sit there silently until I came back to reality. He would time it every time I did and I lowly chuckled every time.

The sun slowly raised and shined right on my face as I shield Amelia's face. She would stretch and groan, but never fully waked up. Ice smiled and went to his room to catch a couple of hours of sleep, as I heard soft piano playing. I laid Amelia on the bed and she flinched, but slowly fell into asleep. I walked into the hallway following the soft keys playing.

"My mind runs away to you

With the thought I hope you'll see
Can't see where it's wandered to
But I know where it wants to be

I'm waiting patiently though time is moving slow
I have one vacancy and I wanted you to know that

You're the one designed for me
A distant stranger that I will complete
I know you're out there we're meant to be
So keep your head up and make it to me
And make it to me

So sick of this lonely air
It seems such a waste of breath
So much that I need to share
So much to get off my chest"

I soon recognize the song and it's Make it to me by Sam Smith. I stood by the doorway as he played and started to sniffle while playing. Vincent could sing, but if he cried it meant that something touched him deeply. For an example, me touching his scar the first time we got really intimate in my room. His eyes lowered, seemed red, and he left with no other words. He was seriously broken and I now knew why. Vanessa messed him up too badly. The thought of her made me clench my fists together and I wanted to punch something, but quickly thought about the fact she gave me a beautiful baby girl to call mine. I stood at the doorway until he noticed me and he slowly stopped playing as each note got longer.

"Givoanna, look. I-"

"Vincent, save it. I am not going to even bother asking. I thought we had a moment in the shower, I thought we had some type of understanding. But, you result to drinking again? For what?" I said as I entered the unknown room and closed the door behind me.

"I just don't want to hear it. Whatever he was going to say yesterday, I did not want to hear it. But that didn't stop y'all from talking all night.. Now did it?" I looked at him as he stood up with his 6'2" figure that has grew since we met. He hovered over me and spoke in a soft, but firm tone.

"You noticed? Didn't think you would. After all, you were drunk."

"Only sober enough to hear you talk and laugh all night."

"Aw, someone jealous?"

"Jealous? Oh no. But you should be jealous."

"For what?"

"Cause I love Vanessa more than you." I got silent as he stared straight into my eyes and didn't look fazed at what he said.

"Did you really just say that to me?" He shrugged his shoulders in a cocky manner and walked smooth past me.

I walked with tears in my eyes as I went to my shower. I quickly washed Amelia, with her asking me several times "Mommy, what wrong?" I only smiled at her and she would squint her eyes, but be easily distracted.

I washed myself with tears falling through my eyes and Let the water fall right in place with my face. I wrapped a towel around me and I looked in the mirror for a couple of seconds before I pulled myself together. I sluggishly walked outside the room with a dark blood red long cardigan, a black tank crop top with a lace back, and navy black high waist jeans. Ice jumped on my back and scared me. I jumped on his back as he carried me downstairs and I laugh as Ice came to a stop and set me down in front of the kitchen. I'm thinking that Vincent turned his head. I didn't not notice, but I shrugged it off and Mel came into the kitchen. It felt like I haven't seen her in forever. Her and Josh live that bedroom together. I thought to myself.

"Nova, let me take you out. We can chill together." Ice said, shamelessly. Vincent didn't flinch once.

"But I need to take care of Amelia. I don't want her to panic."

"I'll take care of her, I want to spend a day with my favorite niece." She said as she picked her up from the top of the stairs as she struggled to descend.

"You sure Mel?" She rolled her eyes and nodded.

"I'll just get my wallet and shoes, then we can go."Ice then asked me if I wanted to walk or drive, of course I said drive.

"Alright baby girl, listen to me. Mommy is going to go out with Uncle Ice for a second. We will be back in a couple of hours. Auntie Melly will take care of you. I want you to be the best Amelia ever okay?" I said as I held her up on the counter.

"Yes, Mommy.." She said with a saddened look on her face.

"Hey, princess. I will be a phone call away okay? If you want to talk, just tell Auntie Melly and we can talk. I promise." She nodded happily, I kissed her forehead as Ice came out.
