"That's not answering my question." I said with an attitude as I slipped his warm scented jacket on.
"I need to provide for her. That's it." My heart sadden a little bit as soon as he said her. I didn't know how to react except to give him his jacket and to walk away.
"Nova, where are you going?" I didn't answer.
"NOVA." No answer. He ran beside me as I tried to speed up.
"Nova, what's the problem?" We stood only inches apart, smelling his cold spearmint breath.
"Go care for her. Why are you here with me Vincent? Asking me on a date and shit. Don't think I am one of these weak minded bitches because I'm not. Let go of me." He cracked a smile, but that quickly wait away.
"Nova-"
"It's Givoanna." I managed to get out of his grasp and ran home as he still called my name.
He texted me all night, asking me if I was okay, if I would still let him talk to me, if I am ever going to reply. That caused me to laugh just a little bit. He called me twice, but by the second time I picked up.
"What?" I said coldly.
"Why won't you talk to me beautiful?"
"Cause I don't want to. Go take care of whoever and whatever you need to do because I am not one weak minded bitch, I know when to drop people. Don't play with my emotions. I am not those girls you're used to. Trust me." I was about to hang up after my rant before he said something.
"Well I am not focused on them. Can I just explain myself on Friday, please?"
"Who said that I was still going on a date with you?"
"I did. Be ready." He hung up to leave me in shock.
After doing my homework, around ten o'clock Vincent calls me again. I automatically rejected the call and I close my window and heard light tapping on my window. I ignored it and heard it again, I looked outside and saw no one. I went to the bathroom and took a ten minute shower, coming back to my room, getting ready to go to sleep. I put on my shorts and sports bra because I like to practice and dance before going to bed. I danced around in my room for about nine minutes to Power by XIB. I heard one last tap, angry and irritated I went to the window opening it seeing Vincent hanging.
"What the fuck are you doing, you stalker?" I said trying to yell and whisper at the same time.
"Can you let me in, so I can explain myself?" He whispers back.
"Nigga, no! How do you know where I live first of all?!"
"I know who and where everyone lives in this neighborhood." I glared at him.
"Mel told Josh and he told you. Didn't they?" He smiled as he pulled himself into my room.
"You have two minutes to get out of my room." We were face to face, and I felt his hands go around my waist. I grabbed them off of me, knowing that I liked the way it felt when he touched my waist. He smirked and sat on my gray bean bag chair. I went to the edge of my bed, looking at him.
"What do you need to say?"
"Nova, look. I know I have a lot to say in about myself even though you just met me and I'm sneaking through windows and I passed you a bag of tree out of nowhere. I know I have a history and I'm not all of the bad guy you may think I am. I understand that I look like this and have the history behind it to back it up, but I do this for a different reason then you might think I do. You can give me a chance to show you a different side of me. I'm really sorry for making you go through this, but I know that we can make something out of this. Please believe me on this." He looked at me, while he was getting teary eyed. The natural instinct of me, I wiped the loose tears that he couldn't hold back anymore.
"Vincent, I don't know what to say.." I said with my hand to his face, again looking at every detail.
He holds my hand, "Say nothing, I just want to show you the true Vincent. I just want to have a chance." He stands up and looks at me, with his eyes getting red from holding back too many tears.
"I guess I have to go now, right?" I nodded slowly, and he came in for a hug. We hugged each other, but he looked at my lips and came in for a kiss. I backed up and he looked down.
"I'm sorry.. by the way, you dance pretty well." He went outside the window and I closed it.
