I woke up, remembering what just happened last night. I smiled at the fact, he seemed so sincere and meant every word he said. I couldn't wait to get to school and tell Mel and the squad. I was really in the mood to talk to Vincent, but he hasn't texted me all this morning. But I tried to shrug off the fact that he hasn't.
Around twelve twenty six, during 3rd period, I saw two figures walk through the class window and turning their heads as if they were looking for someone. I leaned back in my chair a little bit and saw Josh turn around patting the other figure as they turned around and walked inside the classroom. Ms. Bonds turned around in search for no words, but she quickly regained her chill and asked a question.
"Can I help you boys?"
"Yeah, we need Givoanna for a quick minute." Josh said, while Vincent had his arm around me and the whole class only stared.
"Ms. Blay, do you know these boys?" Ms. Bonds said while one eyebrow was raised.
"Yes, I do."
"Do you feel safe and comfortable going outside with these boys?" I tried not to laugh while I nodded. Josh looked at Ms. Bonds with a glare and almost said something until Vincent elbowed him in the stomach. We walked outside to the hallway as Josh ran outside.
"What are you guys doing here? How do you know what school we go to? Are you guys-" he cut me off by giving me a kiss on my forehead.
"We just wanted to buy you and Melanie some lunch." Josh ran back inside with two bags of McDonalds and two large sprites.
"I didn't know what to get you, so I got you the same thing I get." Josh handed me a bag of french fries with a fish filet with a large Sprite with no ice. I knitted my eyebrows together.
"You get the fish filet?" Vincent did a double take at Josh.
"Wrong bag." Josh said, as he handed me the right one with an Angus Deluxe with no tomatoes and french fries.
"You like this too?" I smiled.
"Yeah, I just hate tomatoes." He said while making a nasty face, which caused me to laugh.
"Melanie likes the filet fish."
"Do you know where her class is?" Josh asked anxiously.
"Yeah, it's down the hallway to your left in the cut." Josh happily skipped, more like ran to her classroom, while Vincent stayed out with me.
"What class do you have?"
"AP Modern World."
"Sounds pretty easy." I raised an eyebrow and looked at him in shock.
"Sounds easy?"
"Yeah, I took a semester and a half of it before I dropped out." He smiled and sort of looked ashamed at the same time. I smiled at him and looked down.
"You can ask me for help if you need it."
"Well in that case, I'm going to need it a lot. I have a 62.9% in this class." I said with my arms folded while I stuck my bottom lip out. He chuckled and mocked my movements.
"I managed to pass the three quarters with an 91-93%. Sort of frustrated me a little bit." He mocked my voice.
"I don't sound like that. I wish I could have that in this class. But I have to go now, before my teacher goes off." He gave me a hug and a kiss on the forehead.
"I'll call you later beautiful. Can't wait until Friday." He said with a wink and a smile. I blushed as I got inside the classroom with people staring at me with the bag of McDonald's in my hand. I quickly sat to my seat and sat it next to me with a clear smile on my face.
