My heart was pounding and I was only praying that they were debating on politics or something. Erica looked at us and she was just as confused as we were.

"Do you guys want me to wait out here?" She asked.

"Sure, just wait around the corner or something." Mel said as she answered for both of us.

I opened the door as Mel and I stood there while everyone stared at both of us. The whole room was silent. I looked at my little brother and he mouthed to me, You just messed up big time. I mentally slapped myself and gave an awkward smile.

"Don't smile at me Givoanna, where were you both because you guys weren't where you told us you were." Mel's mom said.

"Melanie. Anything?" Her dad said, she rolled her eyes and crossed her arms.

"Young lady, don't you dare do it." He said in a booming tone.

"We went over our boyfriends house and stayed the night. Is that what you want to hear?" Mel said as my heart pounded harder and harder with each word.

"Nova, is this true?" My mom asked and I looked at Mel to catch up on a lie, but she was having a death state contest with her dad.

"No.." I mumbled, hoping that I wasn't asked to lie again. My heart rate was so high that I couldn't see past the color black for seconds at a time.

"Genni? Hey girly." Mel said in a soft voice.

"Where am I?" I said while my body aching as I tried to sit up and this unfamiliar bed.

"Um, don't freak out because I know you don't like them. But, you are at a hospital." She said while squeezing her eyes shut.

"You know I don't like hospitals and you decided that it was okay to bring me here?"

"It was for what's best for you calm down. Don't get mad at me for helping you." Mel said as she turned her head.

"Fine.. Where are my parents?" I asked as she gave me a remorse look.

"They are here, but I think you might want to hold on to me after this. Actually, don't. You might hurt me." Mel said with a small smile on her face.

"What happened Mel?" I said with a stern voice that took every ounce of my energy to say.

"I think it's better if our parents told you. They wanted to wait until you woke up." I stared into her eyes and I saw that her hazel brown eyes were now surrounded with red.

"Were you crying? About what?"

"Nova, just calm down and breathe for me okay?" She said as tears pour down her face with small streams of water. Our parents came inside the room and looked at both of us. The doctor came in right behind them, with a wide smile on his face.

"Well, Miss Givoanna, you're allowed to go home and just take it easy. Don't do anything too reckless. I'll have a nurse escort you out in a couple of minutes." He said as he left the room.

"What are you talking about? I am so confused on it all." I whispered to her.

"Just wait for it." She said back as our parents were on the other side of the room talking me.

"Givoanna.. Melanie.. We have some news and we just wanted to tell you guys that we love you.." Melanie's mom said as her dad comforted her. My mom just looked at me with those disappointed eyes and those saddened cheeks, while my dad just avoided making eye contact with me.

"We can't handle you guys lying to us anymore.. you guys are only seventeen and are acting like you're twenty-three. We are done with you guys, we packed your bags before we came here and thye are in the trunk of our cars. I'm sorry.." Melanie's mom said as she began to bawl her eyes out.

"Wait, Mommy, Dad. You guys know that I am a good child, why are you guys doing this to me?" I asked as I used every last bit of my strength to say.

"You are staying at boys house for what? You shoul dhave thought about that before you stayed over that house." My mom said, while my dad just nodded and agreed.

"You guys know that I am a good child, I don't do any wrong. Why are you guys doing this to me?" I cried.

"You guys are going to have to find somewhere else to stay." My mom said.

"I can't believe this.."

"I can't believe that you would lie to us like that Givoanna." My dad said.

"I love you, you're my only daughter and I love you more than life itself, but you lying to me dead in all of our faces that's something that is coming out blue." My dad said as tears filled up his eyes, if he was to blink.. it would crush my whole world down. I knew that if he started to cry that I would just want to hide under a rock and never come out from this embarrassment.

I couldn't believe what my ears were telling my brain. My brain couldn't understand what I was hearing, like it couldn't process to my head properly.

"So you four, are telling us, TWO SEVENTEEN YEAR OLDS, to get out of your house?" I said as I stood up.
