Part 13

Lucas P. O. V.

When I came back home from office earlier than usual since they said it will rain, I saw jenice noona washing dishes in the kitchen.. She is the one sia chose for house keeping.. She is a lady in her thirties who lost her husband two years ago and raising her twin children alone..
I heard a sweet laughter sound.. I walked to the backyard and saw sia playing with that twins and vivi Their name is Evan and Nadia I think.. They both are four years old..

I stared at her playing and smiling... Look at how happy she is.. She look so happy.. She don't even smile at me like this.. Well.. It's not like I care, still.. She is smiling so brightly like a ray of sunshine... That two kids also looks happy.. They are playing tag and when they saw me, they froze.. Again.. It's not like I am some kind of ghost. They always get scared of me.. I am not gonna eat them..vivi noticed that and giggled staring at me

"ohh.. Lucas.. you came earlier today" she said and smiled.. Those two hide behind her back scared from the loud thunder sound..

" let's go inside.." she said and as soon as they set foot inside the house it started pouring..

"lucas" she mumbled tugging to my sleeve

"hmm.?"

"can we let jenice unnie and kids to stay here tonight..? They can't go back in this storm" she said..

"sure.. Do whatever  you want.." I said and she smiled bright.

I still don't understand why she ask me things like this..? If I said something  she won't listen to me.. Then why..? On the next thunder she took the children to the guest room.. jenice noona hesitated and she convinced her.. She is really good at talking no wonder she used to be a translator..

We all had dinner together and the kids along with jenice noona went to their room. Vivi already went to her miniature room sia made for her but I know she won't stay there for long.. Then , Sia fell asleep reading her novel .. I lifted her and took her to our room tucked her inside the bedhseet and stared outside through window.. It's pouring like crazy.. And since there is so many trees here. The noise is too high

I wish no thunder fell on the roof or something.. Even children are here today..another big thunder sound is heard then I turned to see vivi flying towards me in horror.. Pfft.. She is scared of thunder..

"lucas.." she cried as she hugged my shirt collar

" yeah yeah I am Here.. It's nothing.. Let's go"

I said as I walked to the bed and  lied down  beside sia and vivi hide under my collar and started sleeping..i felt like a potato is on  my neck... She feels a bit heavier than before.. Is she over eating..? A sudden flash of lightining lit up the room for a second making sia whine in sleep she leaned further and hugged me right burying her face on my chest.. What's with these girls today..?

I entered the office today and it's unusually crowded.. What's going on..?

" are you the head officer here..?" an old lady asked grabbing my hand and I nodded a yes

" I am not here to complain about my stolen  things but you have to help me with something else" she said smiling.. Wait so they all are here to give a complaint on stolen things ..? is there any robbery happened last night..?

"fine.. So what's it.?" I asked and she coughed , I made her sit and gave her water and she smiled

"can you find a tutor for our kintergarden..?"

"huh.. Granny I think you are in the wrong place.. If you want a tutor

" I should go to Employment office I know but I want you to find a reliable tutor.. With the situation being like this I am sacred to recruit someone from Outside and no one in the town is currently available for teacher position.. The one who came are normal Humans.. This  kintergarden is for our kinds.. So we are in desperate need to find a tutor.. Please help me find one " she said
