"Call me if anything, okay?" I said to War as I pulled over in front of his workplace.

He smiled and kissed my hand. "Okay, phi. Drive safe."

"I love you," he replied and leaned in closer, then gave a peck kiss on my lips.

"I love you more, baby." Once more, I kissed him on the lips and the cheeks as if I didn't want him to leave.

Everything that happened the last day continued to give me reason for worry. I wanted to make sure that my boyfriend would not be exposed to any news whatsoever regarding marriage arrangements. It's true that he didn't say much but it would be a lie to state that he has already stopped thinking that.

The fact that he had to deal with the consequences of the behavior of my parents made me feel terribly guilty and ashamed. In any case, I know I couldn't bear to lose him. My soul really couldn't allow it. I simply was unable to do so. How could I possibly let him go when I love him more than my own existence?

I kept holding his hand and didn't give any indication that I was going to let go of it. In response, he smiled and gently caressed my cheek. "We will see each other again this evening and go out for dinner. Don't miss me too much," he said with an adorable smile on his face, prompting me to smile as well.

"I love you so much, baby. Give me one more kiss," I said and he grinned while leaning close to give me one more kiss before we parted away this morning.

Ding Ding Ding

My phone rang and when I took a quick glance at it, it was my secretary, leading me to press the green button on the steering wheel to answer the call. "Hello, Nina."

"Hello, Mr. Yin. Pardon me for suddenly calling you like this but Miss Heidi came to the office again. She caused a scene when the security guard refused to let her enter the building."

I let out a heavy sigh when listening to it. That woman again, did she not feel ashamed? It was obvious to her that I wasn't interested in her when my parents set up the blind date for us and I didn't even show up but she still managed to make a fool of herself in front of others. Disgusting.

"Hold on. I will arrive in 5 minutes."

"Okay, Mr. Yin."

Damn it. Why should I deal with this weird woman when I didn't even know her in the first place? It is ridiculous to arrange marriages. Did my parents really believe that we were still living in the early part of the year 2000 when they tried to coerce me into marrying someone else? This is so stupid that it makes my head hurt.

As soon as I arrived at my office building, a few men in black suits escorted me in, along with Nina, who rushed to me as soon as she saw me walk to the entrance of the building. Far off in the distance, I could hear the sounds of a woman shouting at someone. Others were also walking around the area and witnessing the scenario while they were in the lobby, which was packed with onlookers.

"How long has she been here?" I asked Nina.

"About 20 minutes, Mr. Yin. She changes into a monster when we don't allow her to enter."

"And she keeps saying she will marry you."

After listening to it, my anger flared up once more. Like, seriously, what's up with this woman?! She doesn't feel the slightest bit of shame.
