CHAPTER 19

I woke up because of the sunrise hitting my eyes, it's not that hurt, iba ang araw nila rito, I slowly opened my eyes.

“Fix yourself— we have training this afternoon,” Alice said as she closed the book that she was reading and stood up, looking at me.

“What? —Wait, I just woke up,” I said, leaning on the headboard of my bed.

“I don't care, kahit na kakagising mo palang o ano pa 'yan, I will not take that as a no—so get your ass out of the bed, mother fucker, and fix yourself— I'll give you 5 minutes,” she said, going to the couch and sitting while crossing her arms and looking at me.

“Wait—”  I didn't finish what I wanted to say.

“4 minutes left, newbie, or you wanna die in that bed,” she said, raising her brows at me.

“3 minutes left,” she said in a bored tone. I immediately got up and ran to the bathroom and get my armor suit.

“Unbelievable,” I said, and I closed the door.

After I got changed into my armor suit, I immediately got out, and Alice was looking at me boredly. She rolled her eyes and stood up, walking to the door.

“Hurry up,” she said, and opened the door.

Agad naman akong sumunod sa kanya pababa ng hagdan, nandito na nga pala ako sa special class— big chandeliers, long staircase— this building is like a modern house— it's not like a classroom nor a dorm, specifically it's like a big mansion that was created exclusively for them, or I will say “for us.”

“Tama lang ang gising mo,” our instructor said, which is what they call “Tanda.”

I look at Alice, who's now walking directly to the couch to sit, and I'm just here standing in front of them. They were looking at me like I'm an alien.

“Sa ngayon ay kinuha muna namin ang punyal sa'yo, mas mainam na sigurong nakatago na ito.” He said looking at us, they look like they are not interested, may kanya kanyang mga ginagawa.

I just nodded for response, kinapa ko naman ang tagiliran ko, wala na nga— nakakapanibago.

“But, at what Hill said, you summon that dagger right?” Sabrina asks me as she holds a book. I nod.

“Try to summon again,” she orders. My forehead frowns.

“Why?” I confusedly ask because they say that they keep the dagger for some reason and then they will order me to summon it again.

“To try if you can summon it again anytime” she said, naramdaman niya sigurong naguguluhan ako sa kanyang sinabi

I just nodded and raised my hand, and in just a snap, the dagger was on my hand, smoking with black smoke. They gasped from what they witnessed

“You summoned it in just a snap— Hindi ka man lang nahirapan,” Sabrina said, surprised.

“So what is the use of keeping that if he can summon the dagger anytime, psh,” Amber said while crossing her legs.

“Wala naman para sana maiwasan ang paggamit niya ng punyal,” our instructor said and walked towards Sabrina.

He suddenly ripped the bandage off Sabrina's arm.

“Tulad nito,” he said. The arm of Sabrina is still not healed, and the surrounding wounds have black nerves and black smoke, so this is what the cursed sword can do.

“Is there any way to heal that immediately?” I asked, looking at Sabrina's arm.

“We are still searching, but don't worry— she can still kick her ass.” Amber said

“Posible ring kumalat na kaagad, kung hindi pa maagapan,” our instructor said. We looked at him.

“The curse sword is different from other swords— the curse sword is destruction. Ano man ang nagawa nitong pinsala ay hindi na mababalik sa dati.” Sabrina said, and she closed her book.

“Anong gagawin natin? Hindi p'wedeng gan'yan nalang si Sab,” the guy with eyeglasses said.

“Hahanap pa kami ng paraan.” Our instructor said calmly, and Sabrina nodded.

“This is your fault!— I said stop that goddamn duel, but you keep on attacking her!” Alice was yelling.

“I didn't mean to—”

“You did not?! Are you joking?” she angrily said, holding me by my collar.

“Tama na 'yan Alice,” our instructor said, but she punched me in the face, what the fuck her fist is like an iron, my mouth got bleeding halos hindi ko ma galaw ang aking leeg sa pag kakatabingi nito—

“Oh,” Amber said with a teasing voice.

“That hurts for sure,” the red-haired guy said.

Nakakarami na 'tong babaeng 'to sa'kin I cracked my neck and looked at her, wiping my mouth with the back of my hand.

“Kulang pa 'yan, I want to kill you right now, where you're standing, bastard.” She said and hit me in the arm before she left.

They left one by one, and they hit me in my arm. I just held my temper so as not to explode.

“I'm sorry for how they act, but they're nice tho,” Sabrina said and tapped me on the shoulder. I just make a mouthy face while nodding.

“They are just concerned about their teammates—”

“We're already a family, not teammates.” Sabrina cut off what our instructor wanted to say.

Our instructor shrugged his shoulders and tapped me on the shoulder.

“Oras na para mag training,” he said and left. I'm the one who left here in the living room standing, I need to prove myself— what the fuck, hindi p'wedeng ganito.

Thinking back to when I was young, Kiera was the only one who would defend me from those who oppressed me.

“Hanggat nandito ako walang aapi sa'yo,” that's her line always while defending me.

I should be the one defending her, not her defending me.
