I was looking at the barriers, stunningly looking up to see the glowing stones in every corner of the ring. “Pot—” I winced as I suddenly threw myself into the corner of the ring.

“Focus Kenji!  If this is a true battle, you will get killed immediately,” she yelled.

I slowly stood up and closed my fist.

“You look like an idiot as always, newbie,” suddenly the girl in the wood came, leaning in the wall crossing her arms looking at us.

“You'll easily get killed if you're stupid,” she said boredly. I frowned at what she said.

I look at Sabrina, who's now looking at me holding an arrow.

“Focus on your opponent, not the surrounding motherfucker,” she said. I concentrate looking at Sabrina.

I get my dagger on my waist and sway in the air. Suddenly it turns into a sword, smoking.

“What the fuck?! Stop that duel! Where did you get that sword, newbie?!” The girl in the wood yelled outside in the barriers— she thrashes at it, but it's no use.

“Sabrina! Stop that duel! That sword that he is using is the curse sword!” she yelled

But Sabrina didn't listen. As Sabrina tightened her hold on the arrow while saying something that I couldn't understand, the arrow she was holding gradually became brighter.

I'm ready to aim my sword at her— my mind keeps telling me to finish my opponent, and my sword has released so much black smoke that even I can't see the length of the blade.

I ran to her and swung my sword— I feel like I'm dancing at my own rhythm— hindi pa ako nakahawak ng Espada sa buong buhay ko, but I feel like I already master this weapon, the way I swung the sword in the air and the way I dodged the attack of Sabrina, I'm losing my mind.

All that Sabrina can do is dodge every attack that I throw at her. She ran and dodged.

That's right, just ran until you get tired. I corner her at the corner of the ring, I aim my sword to her head, as if I will split her into two, but she dodge my attack. Gumulong siya, habang hawak-hawak ang kanyang braso na ngayon ay may sugat.

“What the fuck newbie! You might kill her! Are you losing your mind?!” The girl in the wood shouted outside the barriers. I look at her, but I can't hear her anymore.

I just saw her shouting, but I can't hear her anymore. I feel dizzy, I hold my head— it feels like my whole world is spinning.

Sabrina attacks me— I get hit in my arm— the arrow goes into my bone— but I feel no pain— I just walk with no direction— I just hold my head, and I hear some voice from my head keep telling me to finish my opponent.

I shouted because of the pain in my head— Halos mapa luhod na ako sa sakit na tila may gustong kumawala. I let go of the sword while kneeling in the middle of the ring.

The black smoke appears on my body. I can't help but shout. I tightly hold my head. Halos sigaw ko na lamang ang tangi kong naririnig—sobrang sakit.

The darkness is eating my consciousness anytime soon.

“What the fuck, newbie!” That was the last thing I heard before I collapsed and passed out.

Everything is dark, and the cold surroundings embrace me—where am I? I was lying and I can't move. I can't even speak.

I feel like someone is on my top— it feels so heavy that I can't move even my fingers.

"Kenji,” someone said, a cold voice sending shivers down my spine.

“What will you do? Paparating na ang digmaan” I frowned at my forehead. Is she talking about the full moon?

“You should not have lived, cursed child— two souls in one body, only one soul can own a body— one of you must win— one evil against good— which of the two will win?” She said, naguguluhan ako— ako ba ang tinutukoy niya?

I want to speak— I want to ask— I have so many questions that are still mysteries to me. Who am I?

Maya-maya pa ay naigalaw ko na ang aking mga daliri— kasunod ay may naririnig akong nag uusap-usap

“Let me slap that fucker.” I heard some voices talking. But I'm still here in the darkness.

I heard a loud slap, and I felt it on my cheeks. What the fuck?

“Wake up, mother fucker!” someone said.

Why am I still here in the darkness, but I can hear the voice of the girl in the wood?

“Wait, just one slap.” I hear the girl struggling.

“Mamaya na Alice, let him rest,” someone said.

I suddenly gasped when I felt someone hit my stomach— I suddenly woke up from what she did, and at the same time I opened my eyes when her fist hit my face.

My vision seemed to darken with the force of her fist hitting my face, and I just bowed down from the pain of what she did,

“At last, you're awake, fucker! Get up!  Let me punch you one more time," said the girl in the woods, whose name was Alice, struggling with the grip of her friends.

“Calm down, young lady,” my instructor said and walked toward me.

Ginulo niya ang buhok ko “You're officially the member of the special class, kid,” he said and tapped my back as if he would crush my back at his tap.

“What?  No!  He put Sabrina in danger, and you just said that he was already part of us? Are you kidding me?” Alice yelled

“Stop it, Alice, this hot guy is cool,” Amber said, looking at her nails.

Alice stomped on the floor in so much annoyance, and she ran up to me and punched me in the face—suddenly I was unconscious from the force of her punch.

“This is not easy,” I heard my instructor say, and darkness ate my consciousness.
