CHAPTER 20

I followed them in the training room, they all got their weapons and trained on their own. I am still holding the dagger, they didn't get it from me, so I will practice this until I can master this weapon.

“One on one, put that dagger down, Scott, and go to the ring immediately, Alice is your opponent.”  I'm busy practicing the dagger on the side of the training room when our instructor calls me. I look at him surprised, did he say that I'm going to train with Alice?

Alice went to the other side of the ring. She was looking at me with a bored look.

“The time is ticking, newbie, psh,” she said, crossing her arms on her chest.

Agad naman akong pumunta sa loob ng ring. The ring immediately activated the barriers. I look at Alice, who's now looking at me with her siren eye. Is she sleepy? Not gonna lie, she looks more attractive with her serious look.

In just a snap, Alice was right in front of me. I didn't even blink. She moved as fast as lightning. She immediately punched me in the stomach. What the fuck, that was hurting, I can't even move.

I was out of consciousness, holding my stomach and kneeling on the ring. I coughed up blood.

“Kaya mo 'yan bata” Our instructor cheers me on as if I'm not hurt by what Alice did to me.

Masyado siyang malakas para sa isang babae, mas malakas ang suntok niya kumpara kay Kiera. “Get up, newbie,” she said while I'm still on the ground.

Hindi pa ako nakakatayo ay sinipa na niya ako sa tagiliran, I shouted because of pain, unbearable pain. I almost lost my breath from what she did.

“Fuck” I can't stand my knees are trembling.

“Hindi ka p'wedeng sumali sa'min kung palampa lampa ka” I heard Louis say with anger.

“Get up, newbie.” Alice once again said, and she kicked me on my stomach again, and I just coughed up blood.

She kicked me until darkness ate my consciousness, and I failed again.

I woke up in my room, I immediately got up, my head hurt, I held my head up and stood up and went to the window. How can I be strong if in just her punch I lose my consciousness? Her punch is so strong, what the fuck.

I was staring at the students practicing on the ground. I need to train more.

“Pasensya na sa paghindi pagkatok bata,” suddenly Helena showed up in my room with her magic portal. I just looked at her, confused. What is she doing here in my room?

She held my hands, and suddenly the portal ate me with her. I felt dizzy when the portal spun, and in just a snap we were already in the forest.

I'm confused looking at my surroundings, why are we here in the forest? This is not the forest at BloodyVille.

I turned behind me where Helena was standing now, when I turned around, I was facing another woman, it was not Helena— it was an old woman but not Helena. Where's Helena?

“Sino ka?” I asked her, and I held my waist, my dagger was not here. I didn't feel any danger, but I wanted to make sure.

Ngayon ko lamang siya nakita—I furrowed my brows.

“Bakit mo ginaya si Helena?” I ask her again.

“Kailangan mong mag sanay, hindi ako kalaban—sumunod ka” she said and walked towards the other side of the forest, I followed her with confusion in my head.

Masukal na daan—dense forest, thick fog in surroundings, we are just literally walking in nowhere, and I can't even see what we get through because of the fog.

We arrived in the middle of the forest with a small stream and a hut on the side of an apple tree, and I frowned. “Apple?” in the middle of the forest? I asked in the back of my mind in disbelief as we walked towards a wooden gate.

“Maligayang pag-dating sa maliit kong tahanan kenji,” the old woman said when we got inside the wooden gate. I furrowed my brows at what she said, “Eh?” tumikhim muna ito bago mag salita ulit.

She changed her appearance into Helena. I was surprisingly look at her with my eyes wide open at what I'd seen.

“What the fuck?” I said, still my eyes wide, as she hit me in the head with her thick book.

"Ouch,” I said, holding my head.

“Hindi ako si Helena kung 'yan ang iniisip mo,” she said and got inside the hut.

“Then why do you look like Helena? No, why are you copying her?” I ask confusedly while following her inside the hut.

“I'm her twin idiot,” she says, and hits me on the head again. What the fuck does she love about hitting me in the head?

“Twin?”  I asked her, confused.

“Ask me once again so I'll disapear you in this world.” She threatened me. This old woman has an anger issue, huh? 

“So what's the catch? Why am I here?” I ask her and sit down on her wooden chair.

“Sinabi ko na sa'yo nandito ka para mag sanay, kung ayaw mong mamatay kaagad,” she said with insult in her voice. This old hag is testing my patience, huh.

“Ikaw ang magsasanay sa'kin?” I asked her in disbelief, and she slowly nodded to me, removing her cloak.

“Mag umpisa na tayo,” she said and walked towards the door. I frowned and asked, “As in now?” I asked her while following her outside.

“Hindi ka nandito para magbakasyon, nandito ka para magsanay,” she said and faced me, her appearance changing again. What the fuck?

“You're creeping me out, can you please make your appearance permanent?” I said to her
