“Points for Jasper!” Our instructor shouted.

Inis naman na tinabig ng lobo ang kamay ng kanyang kalaban at umalis.

“Okay, listen everyone!” Our instructor shouted again and clapped his hands to grab the attention of all the students on the battle field.

“Shall we start?” He said, and he walked toward the big wooden chest near the building, which he opened, full of weapons. Any kind of weapon is already there.

Their technology is not that advanced here, but the weapons they have that we don't have are still amazing.

“Grab any weapon that you want,” he said, and the others started to grab their weapons.

I don't know what weapon I should pick— I don't have any experience with how to use a weapon.

Lumapit na ako sa harap upang kumuha, but there's no weapon left inside the two chests.

“One last left,” our instructor said, and I frowned at what he said. One last left?  I don't see anything inside the chest.

“Open your mind and focus on the chest in front of you,” our instructor said.

Sinunod ko ang kanyang sinabi. I closed my eyes tightly and thought that there was a weapon inside the chest. When I opened my eyes, I saw a black dagger inside of it.

I blinked twice to be sure if it was true. I immediately picked up the dagger, my heart rapidly pumping, and I could feel some electricity flowing from the dagger to my hands.

“The weapon chooses you,” our instructor said to me while I was looking at the dagger in my hands.

“Okay, shall we start?” our instructor asked— the others answered, and the others were just listening.

“This is called leveling— bawat halimaw na mapapatay sa loob ng illusion field ay may bawat puntos, and those points are added for your rank points, understand?” Our instructor said, and the others were excited about it, while I am still confused, so what's the rank about?

“There are no rules inside the illusion— just kill all you want until the time is over,” our instructor explained. Some of them are gossiping about the beast.

“The last time we opened the leveling illusion, the illusion collapsed and some beasts entered into the illusion without our consent, so if you encounter it again, just use your ability and ask for help— you know already what will happen— the illusion inside was true— ang sugat, ang sakit na matatamo niyo ay totoo, at may posibilidad na mamatay kayo sa loob,” our instructor seriously explains to us, many what ifʼs we're going inside in my head.

Someone came who I think was also an instructor. He went to the center and waved his hands. After a while, barriers surrounded the battle field, and a forest appeared in front of us.

“Mag iingat kayo, lilitaw lamang ang lagusan palabas kapag tapos na ang oras sa loob,” our instructor said before we entered the illusion.

The illusion got close. “There's no way out,” I said to myself, looking at the dark forest. The cold breeze embraced us, and there was much noise coming from the wild creatures inside this illusion.

Nag kanya-kanya na kaming lahat kung saang dereksyon, ang iba ay nagmamadaling humiwalay sa amin pagkapasok namin sa loob.

I walked in the right side of the forest where just a few students are just here. I have no idea what will happen to me inside this illusion.

I just kill the small creatures that can easily kill in just one swing of my dagger.

Every small creature that I kill is worth only one point. Nakaka sampo pa lamang ako. While my classmates already have thousands of points, the points appear above the head like a hologram.

They just laughed at me when they passed by. I don't care if I'm still in the lower rank, I'm just here to know the answer to who's really my true parents.

I'm just walking in the dense grass when the heavy fog appears. I can't clearly see, tila bumibigat ang aking paghinga dahil sa makapal na hamog.

Suddenly, I heard a strange howl near me. I quickly ran back to where I came from. But I can't see what I'm going through.

I screamed when I fell into the big hole. I couldn't see anything. I only felt sticky on my body. I sat down a little to feel what I stepped on.

My forehead wrinkled when I picked up a big bone. I was terrified when I touched a skull. I was sure it was a human skull.

“Is someone in there?” I shout, trying to climb up. I tried to search for my dagger. I don't feel my dagger in my pocket.

A loud howl is approaching where I am right now. I was deafened by the force of my heartbeat. I felt so nervous that my hands were getting cold and sweating.

I felt something sticky dripping on my head. I looked up, and I saw a monster above me.

His saliva was dripping as if he was very hungry and wanted to eat me. I have nowhere to run— is this the end? I closed my eyes and was just waiting for the beast to eat me. He picked me up with his big hand and threw me out of the hole, making me groan as my body hit the ground.

I tightly closed my eyes— hindi ko alam kung saan ko nakuha ang lakas ng loob para gawin ang bagay na 'to.

I raised my hand, and my dagger flew in my hand, and it shined as it dominates the whole forest. I clearly saw that all in the forest, some creatures are looking at us, waiting to devour me.
