CHAPTER 37

“Saan ka nang galing?” Elizabeth asked me straight to the point when she opened the door of the meeting room, while looking at me. I looked at her like I didn't know what she was talking about.

“Ulitin ko, saan ka. nang. galing?” She asked me again, like she was out of patience for asking me where I had been for weeks.

I can't tell them that I'm from another dimension, that I met Helenora, who's the sister of Helena, they're looking at me, waiting for my answer.

“Oh shit, just tell us where you've been for weeks, newbie!” Alice yelled at me, and she stood up from her seat.

I just looked at her innocently, like I didn't know what they were talking about.

Sabrina held her hands to calm down, and she sat again in her seat.

“I don't know, I woke up under the tree in the battle field, and you know that I was just sleeping,” I said to them, and it's just a lie, I can't tell them what happened.

Helena stood up and opened a portal towards my room. We entered the portal, and I saw someone lying on my bed.

Lumapit ako at nakita ko ang nakahiga—ay ako? I was confused, but I suddenly remembered what Helenora told me. That she left someone who looked like me—not real, but breathing like a human—and I panicked when I couldn't feel my heartbeat, pero hindi ko iyon pinahalata, at mas lumapit pa sa higaan ko.

They are right, this thing looks like me. I held the arm, I felt the heartbeat of this thing, but I couldn't feel mine. I panicked and stepped backwards when the body started to melt.

“May alam na ba kayo kung sino ang may gawa?” my combat instructor asked them, but they shook their heads.

“Isang mangkukulam lang ang maaring gumawa ng ganitong salamangka, pero hindi pa ako sigurado” Helena suddenly speaks, and we look at her, so she already has a hint as to who did this,

“Posibleng ang kapatid ko.” I heard her thoughts while she was staring at the body that is melting now.

“Malapit na mag gabi, walang patutunguhan ang usapan na 'to,” my instructor said and walked towards the door.

“May kailangan pa akong gawin, maiwan ko na kayo,” he added and opened the door.

“Bumalik na kayo sa kanya-kanya niyong kwarto,” our headmaster of our class said, and he got out of the room.

“Hindi pa ito tapos,” Elizabeth said while looking at me intensely and got out of the room.

Helena was just looking at me with no emotion on her face, so I just smirked at her and sat down on my bed.

My team just got out of the room, and when Alice got out, she closed the door so hard that my vase fell and broke. I just shrugged my shoulders and lay down on my bed.

I was just lying on my bed, playing my dagger with my hand, while thinking about what happened to Helenora. If she's okay, how can I know if she's okay? I didn't know how to go to her dimension.

Hindi ko maalis sa isipan ko, kung maayos lang ba siya, may narinig akong mga yabang ng paa at nag mamadali siyang itulak ako sa lagusan.

I don't know how long I was lying on my bed thinking all the things I still couldn't believe.

When I decided to go to the forest, I quickly went to my closet to get an armor suit. I looked in the mirror in my bathroom, and the clothes that I was wearing were the clothes that I was wearing when I first came here, tila isang taong laki sa bayan, malaking damit na may kaonting punit sa dulo.

I wear my armor suit and stroke my hair with my hands. I saw my hair have white strands on it, and they're already spreading. I closely looked at my hand when I noticed that my skin seemed pale.
 

I don't have any heartbeat, my skin is pale, and my hair has white strands on it. Should I panic now? 

But it seems I'm okay, I didn't feel anything like I was going to die.

I shrugged my shoulders and got out of the bathroom. I got some bandages and wrapped them around my fingers that have a black nerve on them.

When I finished wrapping my fingers, I immediately jumped from my window down to the ground. This is the easy way to go to the forest without getting caught.

Naglakad lang ako patungo sa gubat, and didn't mind getting caught, it's already late, they're already in their rooms.

I can use my teleportation to go to the forest, but the wind seems nice to have a calm breeze and fresh air to breathe.

Nang makarating na ako sa bukana ng gubat ay may naramdaman akong pamilyar na aura, it seems that I know that aura, but I couldn't tell whose aura it was.

I immediately ran inside the forest when I felt some other aura that I always felt inside the battle arena, it was a rogue aura.

I saw a man in his cloak holding a lady on his shoulder without consciousness.

I hurry to catch up with the man in the cloak. I was dumbfounded when I saw the face of Alice bleeding on her forehead, but I can still hear her heartbeat.

“Sino ka?”  I ask him, while holding my dagger at my waist, to prepare myself to attack.

He didn't answer and attacked me with black fire. I immediately dodged and went to Alice, who's now lying on the ground without consciousness, her lips had bruises too.

I tap her cheeks to wake her up, but it's no use. I look at the man who's ready to attack me again. I create a barrier to protect us.

Dahan-dahan kong inilapag ang ulo ni Alice at hinarap ang dumukot sa kanya.

“Anong balak mo? Bakit kayo nakapasok sa dimensyong 'to?” I asked him, but he didn't respond to my question and ready to attack me again

Ang buwan ang nag sisilbing ilaw namin sa gubat.

I saw his shadow because of the light of the moon. I immediately controlled his shadow with the ability that I got from the tournament. He couldn't move. I walked towards him and aimed my nails at his neck.

“Anong ginagawa mo dito?” I asked him again and pressed my long nails even more at his neck. I already smelled his blood—rotten blood, the blood of a rogue.

He was struggling, but he didn't answer me yet. I slowly held her cloak to see his face when suddenly a big explosion happened.

Mabilis ko siyang nabitawan at yumuko.  I saw the group of rogues walking in the direction of Alice.

Alice is still unconscious. I ran to her, and immediately lifted her up to the tree, i created a stronger barrier for her, and jumped down to face the rogues.
