CHAPTER 12

I spent the whole night studying to learn like Elizabeth did, which she says is telekinesis.

I was annoyed to be walking around because the sun had risen, but there was no improvement, not even a little movement.

I was annoyed at lying on my bed.

“Kenji” called me from my door. It was Elizabeth's voice.

“Come in,” I said, and she opened the door. She was looking at me with a smile.

“It looks like you haven't rested all night,” she said to me as she sat on the side of my bed.

I looked at her while I was still lying on my bed.

“I want to learn,” I said directly to her. She smiled at me.

“Rest first, and don't you have school today?” She said and got up— I also got up and went to the bathroom. Since that accident yesterday when I was given blood, I feel like I haven't been sleepy all night last night.

When I finished taking a shower, I immediately dressed in my uniform. I took the map that was on top of my side table. When I left my room, Elizabeth also came out of her room.

“You didn't wear perfume,” she said to me as she came closer to me. I frowned at what she said.

“Mabango naman ang suot kong uniporme.” I said to her, but she pushed me inside my room.

Even though I was wondering, I just followed her. She took the perfume that was at the top of my drawer and sprayed it on me. I just closed my eyes when she almost gave me a bath, then she put it inside my coat and patted my chest while smiling.

“Don't forget to always put perfume if you want to live long here, Kenji.” That's what she said before she mixed with the air and suddenly disappeared.

I shake my head when she suddenly disappears. Teleportation? I said to myself.

I'm amazed at what a vampire can do, but not all vampires are blessed with such an ability— only a pure royal blood vampire can do such a thing.

Does that mean Elizabeth is a royal blood vampire? I was dumbfounded when I realized, little by little, that the stories and what I knew were connecting together.

“Kanina pa kita hinahanap nandito ka lang pala” Helena said as she got out of the magic circle. I frowned on my forehead while she was smiling at me, and the other professor teleported in front of me with a serious face.

“Wala na muna sanang makakaalam na may dugo kang bughaw kenji” Helena started to speak.

“Wala rin naman akong balak ipaalam kahit kanino,” I said to her, and she nodded at what I said.

“Mas mainam na kami na muna ang nakakaalam habang inaalam namin kung sino ang totoo mong mga magulang.” She said and walked towards me.

“It's better if Kenji will go to the special class, right?” My combat instructor said.

“Pinag iisipan na rin namin 'yan ni Felix para mas mahasa ni Kenji ang abilidad niya bilang bampira.” Helena answered.

They are talking about me, as if I were not in front of them.

“Hold on, I'm still here,” I said to them, and they all looked at me.

“Mamaya na tayo mag usap, pumasok kana sa klase mo.” Helena said to me, and they all started to walk away from me.

Naiwan akong mag isa na nakakunot ang noo sa mga inakto nila, “That's all?” I said to myself and shook my head.

I looked at the map and my schedule were my first subject is Weapons, I silently walking at the corridor when I accidentally heard some of the students were gossip about the special class were already here from their task outside, nabanggit rin ni Helena kanina ang special class, what does it mean? I knocked on the door of my first subject, and my professor opened the door for me, smiling.

“Did your body get ready for this morning task, Kenji?” He said, so I stopped while I was still not looking at him.

“I'm always ready,” I said to him. I felt like he smiled at what I said.

"Okay, class, please go to the battle fields now!” Our instructor shouted, and the others got out in a blink of an eye. The speed that they had, I'm still amazed. I walked towards the battle field with the others.

When I arrived at the battle field, someone suddenly flew towards me. Our instructor quickly pushed me, and I couldn't believe I sat down on the grass staring at the tree and almost fell because he hit when his combat partner threw him at the tree.

“You okay?” The others quickly got up to him, but he pushed them away. He shook his clothes and glared at his combat partner.

“Isa pa,” he said, and his claws grew and his eyes turned golden yellow.

“Here we go again,” my professor said, and he walked to the side to watch the battle.

“Vampire vs. wolf?” I said to myself, looking at the vampire growing his nails, that I was amazed at how they move as fast as light, how the wolf moves fast even in his big appearance, and how they dodge every single attack they do.

They're panting and catching their breath. Walang gustong mag patalo, in the back of my mind, how can I survive here, especially when the full moon is already approaching?

The vampire got an opportunity, and he attacked his opponent with his speed. He went to the back of the wolf, and he aimed his long, sharp nails on the neck of his opponent.
