CHAPTER 39

I go to my room to change my armor suit and take a quick shower. I need to talk to Elizabeth. I remove the cloth from my fingers. The nerves are still there, but they're not spreading. I limit myself to using the curse ability.

Many questions ran through my mind, my appearance got a little bit weirder for me, I don't have any heartbeat already, my skin seemed so pale— my hair had white strands on it, my lips got more red like blood.

I let the cold water run through my body while I was leaning on the wall, looking at the mirror.

This is still me, right? I'm still the boy that Keira used to defend, ang batang laging lampa.

“Tanggapin mo na ang kapalaran mo, hindi na ikaw ang dating takot at lampa,” someone said on my head.

I immediately shook my head. I looked at my side. I got the towel and got out of the bathroom. I looked at every corner of my room. There's no one here.

“Masyado yata kitang  natakot mahal kong kakambal,” someone said and laughed. I held my head. It hurt so much when he laughed, his laugh echoing in my head.

I held my hair and pulled it until the voice was gone. I was panting heavily while I was on the floor, twin?

Now I know what the meaning of two souls in one body is, wala pa akong masyadong alam, kailangan kong malaman ang lahat.  I stood up and went to my closet to get an armor suit.

I just fixed my hair and got out. It's already dawn. I go to the room of Elizabeth to ask some questions. When I pass by the office of my weapon instructor.

His door was a little bit open, his yellow light bulb was on, I heard his cursing between his breaths, I was concerned about what happened to him, and I took a peek at his door.

He's facing into the wall. I just see his back. He was shirtless.

“Hey,” I call him. He immediately covered his body with a cloak and looked at me surprised.

“Anong kailangan mo?” He asked me while stammering, his face seemed so worried and surprised, his eyes couldn't focus on me, he immediately got the dagger on his desk with the leather cover, I narrowed my eyes to him.

“Nothing, napadaan lang ako, are you okay?” I asked him, he seemed so pale, and his eyes were uneasy.

He nodded immediately and pointed to his door.

Nag aalangan akong tumango at pabalik balik ang tingin sa kanya at sa pinto, making a mouth face and walking towards the door to get out, I can't read his mind, he seems to block me from reading it.

I go straight to Elizabeth's office to ask some questions. I knock on her door before entering.

“Alam ko na ang nangyari,” she said while rummaging her pile of books to the side.

“I wonder why there is a silver dagger,” she said while thinking, and I furrowed my brows. “Why?” I asked her.

“Matagal nang pinag bawal ang pag gamit ng punyal na pilak sa loob ng unibersidad,” she said, sitting on her chair and drinking her wine.

“Then why does Alice have a wound from a silver dagger?” I ask her, It looks like the enemy is inside this barrier, no one knows.

“Nawawala ang punyal na pilak sa loob ng piitan,” she said while panicking after she received it through telepathy.

She immediately teleported to the dungeon. I followed her and teleported secretly. I hid on the tree where they would not see me.

“Paanong nawawala ang punyal na pilak sa loob ng piitan?!” Elizabeth yelled while looking at the empty circle.

“Someone took the silver dagger and replaced it with a fake,” I heard one of my instructors say, showing the ordinary dagger.

“Where's the key to this dungeon?!” Elizabeth furiously asked while yelling, It looks like this will be a big problem.

“Nawawala ang susi,” Helena said while looking at the dungeon. The gate of the dungeon has electricity around it and so many spells on it.

Mahihirapang makapasok ang sino mang mag tatangkang kumuha sa mga pinag babawal na mga gamit sa loob nito, pa'nong nakuha ng gano'n kadali ang punyal,  Helena creates the barriers for the spell and even she can't go inside without the key.

Then who's holding the key in the first place? Aish, too many questions are running through my mind.

I have never seen a silver dagger in my whole life, I have no idea what it looks like.

It's already morning, the full moon is already approaching, and the sky seems so fine, like there's no danger that will happen later today.

That's going to be a big problem, if someone took the dagger and that enemy is just inside here, there's a chance that he or she will be using that dagger against us. A traitor, eh?

We might be more observant of others, even those who are closer to us, and we must be extra careful.

We didn't know who the enemy was, it might be Elizabeth, one of my instructors, or Helena.

But who knows? It might be me.

When I decided to go to my room, my weapon instructor appeared

“Nabalitaan kong nawawala ang punyal, nahanap na ba ang sino ang may gawa?” He asked, I looked at him, examined his posture, and he seems sick.

“Wala, hindi pa namin alam kung sino ang may gawa, inaantay lang naming magising si Alice upang tanungin kung sino at kung nakita niya ba ang mukha ng gumawa non sa kanya.” Helena said, my weapon instructor was uneasy, he just nodded at Helena.

“Mukhang masama yata ang pakiramdam mo Hill,” My combat instructor asked him.

“Pagod lang, mauna na ako—may tinatapos pa kami ng mga estudyante ko para mamaya,” he said and walked away.

“Mukhang napagod nga yata siya sa pag-asikaso para mamayang gabi,” Helena said while looking at my weapon instructor walking away.

But my instinct said he was telling a lie. I decided to take a look at Alice. Is she already awake? I feel some danger.
