Mute decided to investigate. 'One quick peek and then I will leave.' She told herself. In and out. Once she found the source of that sound, she was going to leave. What could go wrong?

Appearing on another rooftop, Mute saw two people on other rooftops not too far away from her. Two others. One in black and the other carrying a chainsaw. That didn't explain the noise though. But once again she saw him. Sebastian Michaelis.

'Not again.' But he was different this time. She would usually see him in black. But this time his clothes were shredded and covered in blood. 'A battle?' Connecting the dots of what was happening at the scene. She even took notice down below to see a small boy and body lying beside him. 'Another woman. Jack the Ripper?'

Mute looked back at the two creatures on the rooftops as they continued their battle. As planned, she didn't stick around any longer and left the scene. She was no detective nor police officer. Mute didn't want to get involved whatsoever. Nor did she want to stick around.

Mute returned home and decided to be with Miko for the night. Miko didn't question Mute since she left the house without eating. Miko was quite happy that Mute returned home early tonight. But Mute didn't bother to give her any impression on what she had seen tonight. She would rather let it go. Tonight is the only night Mute will stay indoors.

A few days had gone by and the two young women were out in town today. Mute yawned and stretched her arms out due to the lack of sleep. Miko walked down the road and smiled at the children who were playing around as they passed them. Mute didn't smile at the playing children as they walked by. She kept staring on ahead. "Oh my..." Miko whispered in a low tone.

Mute looked in the direction where Miko was looking at and saw a church just across from them. The doors were open and appearing inside were a lot of people. 'A funeral. This early.' Mute blinked when a single rose pedal floated beside her, catching her eye for a mere second. "Hmm..."

"Sad, isn't it?" A voice spoke out of nowhere. The two girls looked to where they had heard the voice and saw a man with long gray hair that reached down his back and wearing all black with a gray sash over his chest. A small, wicked smirk rested on his lips. The Undertaker. He was referring to the funeral.

"Yes, it is. So sad to see loved ones pass away." Miko replied to his comment, smiling at him. For some odd reason, Mute felt a weird sensation coming from this man. But she didn't want to pry into it. "Let's not waste any more time. We have a busy day today." Miko mentioned before proceeding to walk down the street.

A few days later, Miko had mentioned to Mute that she would be leaving the house for a while for some business. She wasn't going to ask Mute if she wanted to come along or not, and she assumed that Mute would stay in the house anyway. So, Mute was left alone in the household pending through her thoughts. Mute was in her room, lying on her back while she stared at the ceiling.

So many thoughts ran through her head while she stared up at the ceiling in her room. She would go out with Miko, but she wanted to stay indoors for the remainder of the day. Mute didn't want to take any more chances of running into Sebastian. This many times was enough, and she wanted nothing to do with him anymore.

Mute sighed to herself from the boredom. The thoughts weren't going to go away any time soon. So the only thing she could do was roam around. She didn't care where, just not in the house. She didn't want to go crazy.

Sitting up from her bed, Mute shut her eyes in pain. 'Not again...' She curled her body. She was feeling the aura once more. But why now? Why again? What did it mean? It made her shiver and curl up. Mute could only grunt in annoyance.

She hated how this feeling came back to her without warning. She would much rather pend through her thoughts than let this happen. It couldn't be. It can't be him. He couldn't be close by. Even if he was, how could he find her? Mute was thinking of the many possibilities, and this was getting to her head. It almost felt like a pounding headache. She couldn't understand the feeling herself. She had no idea what it meant, no matter how many questioned she asked in her head.

"The night is still long, Milady. We have all the time in the world to enjoy each other."

Mute shivered and stirred in her bed. One too many thoughts raced through her head. She opened her eyes and stared in the darkness of her blanket that she covered herself in. Her eyes seemed dead for a moment. Her body was completely still. Everything was silent.

After a few more moments everything had stopped. Mute sighed in relief but also glared into a distance after processing what had just happened. This angered her. She hated this. 'That's it.' She gritted her teeth while gritting her teeth. 'This ends.'

I'm sorry for making it short and the cliffhangers. A small habbit I can't get myself out of *sweat-drops*
