Mute and Miko returned to Ciel and Sebastian right as Ciel was having an asthma attack. The women hid themselves quickly before they could be spotted by Doll, who was already running towards 'Smile' and 'Black' when seeing Ciel collapse. As much as they wanted to check on Ciel right then and there, they couldn't risk any exposure. Sebastian quickly took Ciel to the nursery tent, seeing how it was the only option.
The ladies followed in silence while stilling hiding within the shadows. Ciel was tucked within one of the beds with Sebastian standing by his side. "It's asthma." The Doctor confirmed.
"Asthma? We've been together for 3 years now, and I've never heard of anything of this sort, not has it inflicted him before today." Replied Sebastian.
"Well, sometimes patients relapse due to the cold, or some sort of stress."
"He's had colds before, but not like this."
"It looks like there were multiple triggers this time. Probably from the outside bath from earlier today. It's no wonder."
Mute and Miko listened to this from outside of the tent. Mute frowned at the information in defeat. "We'll have to inform them at another time. The boy isn't well enough to listen, especially when he is ill. The butler will be occupied with taking care of him for the time being." Miko said, placing a gentle hand on her friend's shoulder. So, the two women waited further into the night.
In the meantime, Miko scouted further beyond the campsite in case for any more demons lurking around, while Mute wandered around to pass the time. As she did, her mind began to wonder itself. She couldn't stop thinking about the attack recently. 'How many more of them are out there? How many more will show up?' Mute frowned at her thoughts. She couldn't allow Ciel, nor Sebastian to get involved. Not after understanding a bit more from the boy.
"There you are."
Mute's eyes widened at the known voice before returning to her blank stare. Sebastian stood in front of her with a blank expression as well. But it was more of look of disturbance.
"You're going to tell me why your dress was in tears." Mute's eyes widened slightly this time before turning her head to the side to avoid answering. But she knew she couldn't.
"It's none of your business." Mute said shortly.
"It is!" Sebastian's voice roared within the air, almost making Mute's body vibrate. The demon stepped closer to the woman, his figure trapping her against one of the tents. His demonic eyes were brought and visible, lurking with dangerous intent. "Whether you like it or not, I will concern myself to your well-being, and seeing you appear injured once again...is enough to make my blood boil. So I will ask but once more... What happened?" His voice deepened with each word leaving his lips.
Mute was in a new attire that she had made from her own shadows, and after her injuries had healed. But, she couldn't lie nor make an excuse when he already saw the state she was in when they rendezvoused. "We were attacked." Mute confessed. "A demon showed up and tried to attack your master. I ordered Miko to flee with him while I dealt with them."
