I returned back home as the sun began to rise. I had to tell Miko about what I saw and what I heard. I hope she wouldn't get too mad at me for disobeying her and going out. When I entered inside the house I saw Miko in the living room sitting on her knees near the coffee table. "Miko," I call out to her. She turns her head and her fox ears appear on her head, clearly surprised that I'm up this early. Do I tell her that I stepped out for the night or inform her what happened last night with what I saw?

"Tell me you didn't."

"I did." I nodded. She could already guess that I had went out.

"You better have a good reason, or I'm going to do something I really don't want to do." She glared, reminding me how serious and protective she can get. I have reason to believe she was a mother once, seeing how she talks to me. "What was the reason for you to step out of this house?" Her eyes narrow at me with a motherly glare.

"I saw something. Last night in the streets. There was some parade going on. But there was something else." I folded my hands together in front of me and look down at the floor while trying to explain further details. "I heard a child's voice and saw a big room with cages. Children were inside those cages."

"Show me." Miko stands up from sitting on her knees and turns to me. In od my head, complying before closing my eyes and taking a deep breath. I wave my hands out in front of me as misty shadows begin to form into the palm of my hands. I turn my palms upright and the shadows swarm around the room, changing the appearance.

The walls turned gold as the room was dimly lit. We were no longer in our house, but in a room of another. We're seeing a different setting, somewhere or someplace else. The room we were standing in was big enough where we could see the cages I was talking about, candles lit everywhere, and a table in the middle of it. Miko and I turned our heads to the cages to see silhouettes of children. But we couldn't see their faces or what they looked like.

Over some time I've been practicing with what I can do. Ever since the fallout of Claude Faustus and Hannah Annafellows, I've dedicated myself to find out more with what I can do with my powers. Miko has been keeping watch in case I overdo it or if my powers get out of control. "My, what a sigh to see." Miko comments. "These silhouettes must be the forms of the children. Too bad we can't see their faces. I wonder why that is?" She looks at me, expecting me to have the answers. I shrug my shoulders and shake my head at her. "And this is what you saw last night?"

"Yes." I nodded. "The location is unclear. But, somewhere out there, these children are being held somewhere." I wave my hands down and everything around us returns to how the way it was.

"So? What would you like to do about this? Do you want to go after the children and rescue you them, or leave this to the human authorities?" Miko folds her arms over her chest and turns to me again.

"Hmm..." I sigh. Do I want to save the lives of human children or leave this to the Scotland Yard? But they will arrive too late, and who knows if these children will be alive by the time they reach them.

"Well, there is one option. There is only one person who can solve a case like this? You do know who I am talking about, do you?"
