So warm

So comforting

Her thoughts ran with so lust and want before opening her eyes. She felt so tired.  Her eyesight was blurry and tried to adjust to the color of the room. It looked a bit dark as her version began to clear. Outside the window showed cloudy skies, as if it was going to storm any moment.

This wasn't her room. And she knew that. She didn't panic nor spring into action to look for a way out. Her mind was too tired to think of anything at the moment. The door to the bedroom opened, revealing Sebastian walking into the room.

Mute didn't bother to run this time. She didn't move. Sebastian walked over to her and gently placed his hand on her cheek. She was docile for now. "So much trouble I had to go through to bring you back." He coed. "You can try to deny it as much as you like, but you and I both know what this means." Sebastian drew his face closer to hers where their noses almost touched.

Mute had no choice but to look at him dead in the eyes. She felt as if she had to be submissive towards the demon in front of her. Her body wasn't listening to her. 'Kiss me please.' Mute couldn't control her thoughts. Being in a room with him, where she felt so submissive to him...

As Sebastian drew his face closer, he suddenly pulled away with his eyes glowing a pinkish color once again. "You have been through so much. No wonder." He smirked and Mute's eyes widened.

'Did he figure me out!?' Her thoughts raced. But she couldn't be too sure. What did he mean by that? 'What does he want from me?... This can't be happening... Don't give in... Don't give in!' Mute tried to keep her thoughts together. She was thinking too many things at once. She didn't know what to think in this situation.

"Calm yourself, my sweet." Sebastian gently cupped her chin and tilted her head up to have her look at him. "You poor thing. What a sorrow expression on your face. It doesn't suit you not one bit. It pains me to see you this way." He leaned close to her ear and whispered, "Allow me to take it away~"

'No...' Mute shut her eyes in denial. She didn't want to submit. As much as she craved for something like this, she couldn't be rebellious. Deep down she was scared.

"Still resisting." He darkly chuckled.

"Pipe down with the noise I cannot bear my sorrow-"

Mute began to sing but Sebastian quickly covered her mouth. "I would advise against that." He warned. "Your voice is like a calling to such creatures like me. Your songs come from your emotions I assume. You sing to keep yourself in a certain mindset."

Mute's eyes widened again when hearing this come out of his mouth. He has been observant of her. She didn't know he was this sharp. Mute was shocked that he had figured out one of her abilities. At the same time this felt too familiar to her. 'What does he want from me?...' She thought again.

Sebastian released his grip on her and leaned back as he said, "Rest, Milady. You're tired." His voice carried out much care and concern. He lied her down on the bed gently and stayed on top of her for a while, looking deep into her eyes. How he wanted to catch her lips with his... Lowly sighing to himself, Sebastian got off the bed and left the room.

Mute remained lying down and closed her eyes, following the orders she was given. Her mind was tired. She was tired of thinking. She didn't want to think of anything else at the moment. She just wanted to rest. Let her mind and herself drift off into slumber.

Hours had passed and Mute still slept for the first time in long time. It was the scent of Sebastian on the mattress she was lying on. She felt protected and so much comfort. Opening her eyes to the darkness of the room, Mute remembered where she was. 'So I wasn't dreaming...' She sighed with her thoughts before sitting up. 'A demon posing as a butler, yet he brought me here. How odd.'

She vanished like a mist and appeared outside in the middle of town somewhere. She didn't care where she had end up. She needed some air. It's not like Sebastian would notice her missing and come to chase her again. Mute stared blankly into the distance before her eyes glanced over at the shop beside her where a doll caught her eye.

Suddenly she began to hear the tune 'London Bridge' playing from inside the shop. She looked up at the shop before entering inside. A shop open this late at night meant wasn't normal as Mute recalled all the times she's been out this late at night. 'Something's going on.' She said curiously.

The dolls on the display was what drew Mute close. Something about them seemed so different. "I see one of them has caught your eye." A voice said, causing Mute to slowly turn around. Drocell Keinz stepped out from the back room with a small smile. "Oh my, a new face. I don't think we have met before." Mute shook her head to his comment. "Welcome, little Lady. It is a pleasure." He bowed like a puppet before straightening himself up.

Mute nodded her head and closed her eyes in a greeting before looking back at the dolls. She felt some sort of presence coming from them. It was dark and bitter.

"Which one catches your eye?" Drocell questioned her. Mute glanced back at Drocell before looking back at the dolls once more.

'Doll maker?' She thought.

"A keen eye... You have noticed my work. You hold something special, don't you?" Drocell took a step closer to her. "There is something special about you. Yes indeed. Hmm..." He lifted his hand up to her cheek. Mute stayed still while staring blankly at him in his hollow eyes. "A sweet delicate thing you are... The perfect doll."

Mute blinked and turned her head to the side, staring at the closed door that was there. Drocell followed her direction as he said,

"Do you want to look at more dolls?" Drocell leaned back and looked at her. Mute looked back at him and nodded her head. "Oh, I have plenty more. Yes, I do. Would you like to see them? You can see the entire collection if you wish to."

Mute tilted her head innocently.

"Oh yes." Mute nodded her head. Drocell leaned back and bowed before proceeding to walk to the back door. "Of course. For a special customer." Mute followed behind without saying another word. Back to being silent. "My master would be delighted to see you too." He suddenly spoke.

Mute raised an eyebrow at him but continued to follow him. The two stopped in the middle of an empty room.

"Build her up with iron and stone
Iron and stone
Iron and stone

Build her up with iron and stone
My Fair Lady"

Drocell began to sing and turned around to face Mute. As he sang, the tune began to play in the room. Loud marching footsteps were heard and soon the room was filled with life size dolls. The same ones that Mute had saw in the display case before she had entered the shop.

"It is like I said from before, my master would be delighted to see you. You are the perfect doll." Drocell repeated.

'And you're the perfect toy to break.' She thought back as her shadow on the floor began to expand and change forms.
