"I don't want to remember... That's why I wish to forget."
Mute stood in the middle of a room with a bloody knife in her hand and bodies scattered, and lifeless on the floor. A total of 3 bodies were dead at her feet. Mute was naked with her eyes wide and tears rolling down her cheeks.
'What did I do? What did I do? What did I do?!' She giggled with a sadistic smile on her face, but her tears kept falling. 'What did I do?!' Mute laughed with her thoughts, and her shadow on her floor began to change shapes. The more she laughed, the more her shadow wildly moved.
Soon her laughter turned to cries before dropping to her knees and covering her face with her hands while dropping the knife in the process. Laughter and cries mixed together filled the room. Mute lifted her head slowly from her hands to reveal her eyes no longer brown, but gray and emotionless. Her skin turned pale, and her shadow on the floor began to move once more. Tendrils slowly extracted from Mute's back as she began to growl with rage, feeling her teeth change shapes too.
"I wish to forget about that day all together." One last look and everything with black with her black tendrils whipping all over the place.
Coming to her senses, Mute opened her eyes and stared at Undertaker across from her, who was sitting on a coffin while munching on a biscuit shaped like a dog treat. "Quite the story to tell. And you can't recall anything after that?" Mute shrugs her shoulders, not wanting to clarify anything else. Cannot deny nor confirm. "Is there a reason why you don't want to use speak anymore? You have done so in the past. What is the difference this time? "
"It's best if I stay silent. Better to exterminate than explain." In other words, it would be best to show actions rather than talking.
"In your words perhaps. You have your reasons, and I have mine." Undertaker giggled. Mute came to Undertaker because the two of them made an agreement for Mute to share her story rather than Undertaker looking at her records. As extraordinary as she is, Undertaker wanted to know about her through her story by her own words, or ways she could communicate. The two of them had formed a friendly bond over time. "Changing the subject, how are your powers coming along? Better control, I hope."
Mute's eyes wander to the side as she shrugs her shoulders. "Still in the process..." She muttered.
"No new songs to sing as of recently?"
Mute shook her head no. "There hasn't been any reason to sing, dance, fly, or anything. It's been...quiet for some time. Back then I would find reasons to sing in order to escape my mind. Not this time."
"You've developed. I'm impressed." Undertaker smirks. Mute stands from her coffin and bows her head, saying her goodbyes. She couldn't be out too late or else Miko would begin her search for her. "Leaving? Very well then. I will see you next time, my dear." Undertaker tips his hat before the she-demon takes her leave.
She left Undertaker's Parlor and returned home to her friend, and roommate, Miko. When entering inside, Miko called out, "Mute? Are you back?! I'm in the dining room!" Mute followed her friend's voice into the dining room to see her applying on nail polish on her nails again. "How was your visit with Undertaker?"
