They started off with the younger ones.

Talia parked in the parking lot and climbed out of the car to walk Asher, Waylen, Cora and Mia to their classes as she needed to have a word with Cora's teacher.

The girl had apparently scared another classmate who had sat too closely to her.

The teacher had said Cora let out a sound akin to one of a growling dog and that it had not only scared the boy sitting next to her but the entire class as well.

Talia took this opportunity to explain her behaviour to the teacher, lying that they had a dog with which Cora was extremely attached to and that she had a tendency to act like it.

The teacher nodded in understanding and asked Talia to make sure Cora knew this was not something to do in a classroom.

Talia had felt the desire to snap at the teacher for not knowing shit about their lifestyle but as a master in self control, she smiled sweetly at the haughty teacher and agreed to have a talk with Cora about this issue.

Once that was done, the alpha drove to the next school and dropped off Cameron and Caleb.

They watched as the twins walked to the building entrance, jumping on each other's backs and annoying each other until they had reached their group of friends already waiting for the two of them patiently by the door.

And finally, it was time to drop Derek off to Beacon Hills high school.

It had been a while since Stiles had seen the building and it brought back many memories of his best friend and himself, walking in every morning, not knowing if they were going to be able to spend the entire day peacefully learning or if they were going to sneak out and fight for their lives yet again.

The brunette sighed as he eyed the Beacon Hills High School sign where Stiles now knew for a fact held the secret Hale volt right underneath it.

The brunette watched the different groups of friends walking inside the building, meeting up with their friends and talking, laughing and playing around before it was time to go.

Talia and Stiles stayed parked in front of the school, watching the boy leave and enter the building, just to make sure he was safe inside as they knew for a fact everything could happen in this town.

But just as they were about to leave, Talia cursed under her breath.

"I forgot to give Derek his lunch money." she said, cursing again as she searched around in her handbag for the money she had promised her son she wouldn't forget to give him before handing it to Stiles. "Can you quickly go and give it to him for me?" she asked and Stiles shook his head instantly.

He had barely been able to come alongside them and it was only because he lived with them and trusted them with his life.

"Please, dear, I know you probably don't want to go back into your old school but he really needs it." she told him and Stiles sighed before caving in and getting out of the car.

He would really do anything for Derek, wouldn't he...?

Since they had been quite late, the bell had already rang and so, when Stiles stepped into the familiar building, he found himself alone in the corridors.

Thankfully, he remembered Derek complaining at breakfast this morning that he had an English Literature class first thing in the morning and that he didn't like the classroom this subject was taught in because of the chemical smells from the room next door.
