"You really aren't the sharpest tool in the shed, are you?"
"Fuck you, Stuart."
"Will you both stop arguing for once?" Daisuke asked as he let out an exhausted sigh as he eyes Finn and Stiles argue once again. "Like, even for five minutes? It'd be great."
"Say that to Finn." Stiles grumbled as sat back down in his chair. "He's the one trying to piss me off."
"He's the one trying to piss me off~" Finn repeated, a mocking grimace on his face as he mumbled the words before glaring at Stiles who retorted with his middle finger raised up to Finn's face.
"Fucker.." Stiles grumbled under his breath and watched Daisuke review the plan instead. "What's this?" he pointed at a red dot on the map of the surrounding woods back at the Hale house. "That wasn't there before."
"We changed it last night." Daisuke replied as his eyes kept sweeping all over the map. "You had already left."
"Why wasn't I informed?"
"It's no big deal, Stuart." Riggs intervened as he saw the anger rising on Stiles' face. "You know now. That's what matters."
Stiles scoffed in disbelief and stood up before stomping his way out of the building. Not wasting time, the brunette took out his phone and dialled Peter's number.
"Wassup my favourite human?" Peter said as he picked up the phone as soon as he saw who was calling.
"They changed the plan last minute." Stiles said and he heard some shuffling from Peter's side before hearing a door slam.
"You're on speaker, Sti." the wolf said and Stiles knew Talia, Connor and Eviana were there as well.
"Okay so," the brunette cleared his throat as he made sure no one was eavesdropping on him. "they changed the location of the attack. It was supposed to be near the river just as I told you last time but now..."
"What is it, Dear?" Talia asked and it had been so long since Stiles had heard her voice, oddly he felt himself relax ever so slightly.
"I don't know.." he sighed, rubbing his face in frustration. "I saw a red dot that wasn't there yesterday. Daisuke told me they changed it last night when I had already left. I'm not even sure they would've told me if I hadn't seen it and asked about it. Talia...I'm pretty sure they're gonna attack the house directly."
The line went completely silent with worry and Stiles felt helpless. Putting himself in this situation was supposed to help. It was supposed to prevent something horrible from happening.
But, now that Stiles was confronted with hidden information, he wasn't sure what to do. Voluntarily or involuntarily hidden didn't matter to him because now he was doubting everything that he knew and shared with the Hales.
Could it be possible that this wasn't the only thing kept from him?
Stiles prayed to every god that this was simply a one time thing and that no surprises would come to them the day of the attack.
"Stiles, listen to me son," Connor spoke up first, his voice was as serious as it could get and Stiles knew that things were getting more and more dangerous and unpredictable the nearer they got to the day of the attack. "you need to get back to the hunters and find a way to review every single detail of the plan, alright? While they explain, I need you to record the conversation and send it to Peter once it's done. Do you understand?"
"I understand." Stiles replied. "I wish I could do more to help, Connor. I'm sorry."
"Don't be sorry, Stiles." Connor replied instantly. "You've already done so much for us. Thank you."
