"This plan is stupid." Stiles deadpanned as he listened to the men talking.

"Do you have anything better?" Finn, who had a temper, spat in annoyance and Stiles sent him a smug look.

And Stiles really had a knack for pissing people off.

"Of course I do." the brunette replied and Finn scoffed in disbelief before folding his arms over his chest, waiting for Stiles to tell them all what an incredible plan he had. "Okay so, first of all, cornering the children? Really?"

"What? Does that make you feel bad?" Finn asked sarcastically.

"No. It's just plain stupid." Stiles retorted to which Finn grumbled under his breath and lifted his middle finger up for Stiles to see. "It'll only discredit you and make you look weak. What we need to do is corner the alpha."

"Are you insane?" Braylon said with slightly widened eyes. "We're totally gonna get fucked right away if we go after the strongest wolf of the pack first."

"See? That's where you're wrong."

No, they weren't.

"The alpha may be the strongest of the pack," Stiles added. "but it's also the most important member of the pack. If we go after the alpha first then every single one of them will get out of their hiding place all on their own and the only thing we will have to do is fuck them over."

"Easier said than done." Daisuke said as he took a sip of his beer.

"When has anything ever been easy in life?" Stiles retorted to which Daisuke nodded in agreement after considering the statement for a second.

"How do we know who's the alpha?" Braylon asked, taking a sip of his own beer, grimacing at the taste and putting it away.

"Observation is key, Bray."

"But everytime we put cameras on, they disappear." Braylon replied in annoyance. "How do they even know where we put them?"

At that, Stiles had to refrain from smirking. He had been giving Peter the location of every single device the hunters would put the nearest to their house. And Peter would efficiently take down every one of them, breaking them before giving it to Talia.

Stiles felt like a spy. A childhood dream which he had never thought would ever come true. It felt oddly satisfying even though there was still this worry swirling in his stomach that something could go very wrong at any given moment.

Stiles could get caught snitching to Peter. He could get caught taking sneaky pictures of their plans and sending it to Talia and he could get caught messing around with the devices to break it before they could even use it.

"That's not important." Stiles brushed off the issue smoothly. "The alpha is called Talia Hale."

"A woman?" Riggs asked as he barked out a loud laugh. "Turns out this'll be a piece of cake after all."

"Exactly what I thought." Stiles agreed with a wide fake smile as he watched them all be relieved at the news.

Oh how wrong were they.

"So," the brunette continued. "we get to the alpha first. We don't even need to attack her straight away. We just need to threaten her or make it look like she's in danger."

"Why not attack her?" Riggs asked with an arched brow. "Attacking her when she's vulnerable is the best thing to do."

"Well if you want to die, sure." Stiles retorted and ignored the way Riggs looked at him through narrowed eyes.
