"Stiles, stop running away from me. We need to talk."

"Oh, now you wanna talk?" Stiles replied in disbelief as he turned around to face the wolf, no longer heading outside the bedroom. "After ignoring me, avoiding me and sleeping at your freakin' friend's house for a week?"

"I know, I shouldn't have done that."

"You think?" the brunette said sarcastically.

There was no denying that Stiles was pissed off at Derek.

A week had gone by since that night and Derek and Stiles had barely seen each other. The wolf had slept at Grant's house every single night of that week and the little times Stiles had seen him was when Derek would come home to get his school books or clean clothes.

And every time Stiles attempted to reach out to the boy, the latter would either ignore him or avoid walking into rooms Stiles was already in.

That made Stiles feel so much better..

The pack was dismayed by the ordeal.

None of them held any knowledge of what had truly happened that day. All they knew was that it involved the two boys sharing a room and that it had been serious enough that it had had Talia shout at them.

Some of them, such as Peter, tried multiple times to get some answers or hints but it ended up fruitless in the end.

Stiles had spent most of his time hiding in the bedroom or training with Talia and Connor.

And everytime he would go downstairs, he would do his very best not to show his neck to anybody. And he was doing pretty good so far as none of them had yet to notice it.

Thankfully enough, those training sessions did help him take his mind off of it and he was grateful these two were there to help him. The only downside to it being how awfully sore his body constantly was.

"I wasn't ready to talk about it."

"But what about me? Do you think it's easy for me?" Stiles retorted. "You're a wolf, Derek. I'm pretty sure there are some advantages to this for you but what about me? I'm human. I'm not even from this time w-"

"I fucking know!" Derek snapped. "What do you think I've been doing? Having fun to forget about it? That's all I've been able to think of, Stiles!" his loud voice rang in the room and it was enough to have Stiles shouting right back at him.

It had been a long time since they had last fought this way.

"Then why didn't you talk to me about it?"

"Because I don't want you to go!"

"I don't want to go either!"

"But you'll leave anyway!"

"Because I don't have a choice in the matter, Derek. Don't you think that it'd be different if I did?!" Stiles yelled back and Derek glared before stepping to the door and walking away from the bedroom. "Where are you going? We're not done yet." Stiles exclaimed as he followed the wolf downstairs who was about to leave.

"I don't want to talk about it anymore!"

"You fucking coward." Stiles exclaimed in utter disbelief and Derek growled back in annoyance. "You can growl all you want, you know I'm right."

"I'm not a coward." Derek growled as he turned to face the brunette. "I don't want to talk about it because all we're doing is shouting at each other's face. We won't get far if we keep this on!"
