Beacon Hills - 2023

7 months.

It had been 7 months since Stiles had arrived in the Hale pack's life.

But it had only been 3 minutes and twenty five seconds for Derek's pack in the future.

They were all still sitting at the same places, still very nervous about this whole thing, not really knowing what to think of it.

This was one of the most dangerous things they ever had to do and it made them restless.

What will they do if something goes wrong?

Derek had told them everything had been fine for Stiles in the past so that meant it'll be alright...right?

"Did he blend in well with your family?" Noah couldn't help but ask after a while and the three Hales looked up at him.

The three of them had been relatively calm about this, already knowing what was happening to the brunette.

But they still spent the last three minutes remembering the time they had with Stiles back when everything was fine for them.

"Oh, he did just fine." Peter replied, a smile blooming on his lips as if remembering things only he knew about and Noah wasn't sure if it was a good or bad thing.

"I'll be honest with you, since I'm the one who sent him there, the first day didn't go all that well for Stiles." Derek admitted and Peter and Cora nodded at the memory and it didn't reassure the human at all.

"Why's that?" Melissa asked, a glint of curiosity shining in her eyes as she looked at him and Derek sighed, folding his arms over his chest.

"As I asked him," he started to explain. "Stiles told my mother everything. Which includes her family dying." he said and saw the understanding start to show on their faces. "My mother cried that night. Stiles was having a panic attack because of the guilt and when he came out of my mom’s soundproof office he had been in with my parents, we all heard her." he said, sighing. "My mother never cried. It was the first time any of us aside from Peter heard her cry. It terrified us. We thought Stiles had hurt her. We freaked out."

"Uh, you freaked out the most." Peter butted in and Derek growled at him in warning to shut up and Peter raised his hands in surrender while mumbling 'just saying' under his breath.

"I still couldn't exactly control myself at that time." Derek defended himself as he took a few steps around the room. "I was young and scared for my crying mother. It's not like I did it on purpose, you know."

"Well.." Cora butted in this time and the grumpy wolf glared at her. "..you kind of wanted to hurt him for hurting mom."

"You hurt my son?" Noah asked coldly and Derek closed his eyes, rubbing a hand over his face before looking at the man again.

"Like I said," he told him. "I didn't entirely mean to."

"What did you do?" Jackson asked curiously.

"He strangled him." Cora spoke up and got another glare from Derek. "Till he fainted."

"Cora."

"You what?" Noah said in disbelief and Derek seemed overwhelmed.

"Are we just going to ignore the part where I didn't mean to hurt him and I couldn't control myself?" Derek asked in disbelief and Noah glared at him but kept quiet.

"You got scolded by mom so bad that night." Cora smirked, visibly amused and the pack couldn't help but notice how comfortably they were talking about their family. Something they usually weren't so comfortable about. "I remember you had to treat unc- uh, Stiles' wounds." she said, quickly hiding her slip up.
