"I'm going to be gone for a while, Candy, make sure nobody gets in." I said lugging my bags out the door.

"Have a good time, Akane!" She waved goodbye as I shut the door making my way down the stairs into Saiga's waiting vehicle

"Are we going to take this? Sibyl would track is easily." I said setting my bags into the back. My hair dripped wet with the pouring rain, my tan cargo pants a little damp along with my black sweat shirt and sneakers.

"We're stopping at my old condo to trade for my old vehicle." He said as he started driving. He was wearing his jeans and a long black coat damp by rain.

"Good." I said leaning back on the chair.

"Do you know where you're going, Saiga?" I asked him as he watched the street.

"We're going out, renting a boat to get to another island, did you bring them?" He asked me. I pulled a fresh pack out of my pocket and a lighter.

"Ko's favorite huh?" I nodded opening it up.

"Before we leave your condo, can we look around there? I remember Kogami telling me he stayed there a few times while you were out and about." I said putting the cigarets back into my pocket.

"Of course he did, I don't think he left anything there the last time, though I haven't cleaned if he has." Saiga said glancing at me. I rubbed the sleep from my eyes.

"So his stuff might still be there, it could help out a spot on him." I said looking out the window.

"Couldn't get much sleep huh Akane?" I heard him say.

"No not really, it's been hard lately." I said looking at him, my pale skin wasn't so hard to see in the 2 am light.

"You've been thinking a lot about him haven't you, you're smoking now, Ko's favorite cigarets, and you've got one of his pendants he left in his apartment." I widened my eyes, I forgot that he studied people very well.

"How could you tell I was wearing his pendant?" I asked turning to him.

"Your left hand keeps going up to your chest." He said smiling.

"Oh yeah... I guess it turned into a habit." I said turning back forward. I looked out to see we were pulling into a dirt road surrounded by trees and brush.

"We're almost halfway there now." I heard him say before I closed my eyes to welcome sleep.
