Seulgi's POV

"What? Teka, Irene—"

"Kanina ka pa 'Irene' ng 'Irene'. Why are you calling me that? Nasaan ang Hyun or Hon ko?" Salubong kilay na komento nito.

What? Umiiyak pa ito kanina 'diba? I'm confused. Ano ba talagang nangyayari? Ang bilis magbago ng mood nito.

"Can you please stand? And there's nothing wrong if I call you Irene since that is your name. Ano bang nangyayari sa'yo? Why are you saying that?" Papatayuin ko muna sana ito para maging maayos ang usapan namin.

"No! It's Hon for you! Dito lang ako sa lap mo. Baka mawala ka ulit sa'min." May binulong pa ito pero hindi ko na narinig.

I sighed. Ano ba nangyari dito kay Irene at ganito siya kumilos ngayon? Where's the Irene that is cold, hindi nawawala sa trance, and has an aura that screams authority?

Itong Irene nakaharap ko is different from before. I didn't expect na ganito ang scenario na mangyayari.

What happened to her?

"What do you mean by 'amin'?" Takang tanong ko rito. Kanina pa kasi ito gumagamit ng amin.

Wait! I remember Iseul said her Mom is the owner of AS mall. Meaning anak ni Irene si Iseul? My eyes widened at the realization.

Anak ni Irene si Iseul. I didn't expect that, I should congratulate them. But somehow, deep inside of me, medyo malungkot ako. I don't know why, but maybe my dream na magkaroon kami ng anak ni Irene noon ay natupad kay Bogum. 

"Wait, anak mo si Iseul?" Tanong ko rito, I just want to make sure.

Her eyes also widened. "How did you know about Iseul?" Imbis na sagutin, nagtanong din siya.

"Well, I met him sa department store toys section, umiiyak. Kaya nilibre ko siya and bought toys for him." Sagot ko rito.

"So, you finally met our—"

Hindi ko na pinatapos ito when I remember to congratulate her. "Irene, congratulations, btw! Ayan dapat ang una kong sasabihin if I saw you again." Kamot-ulo kong sabi. Na bigla kasi ako, kaya nalimutan ko ang dapat kong sasabihin.

Hindi naman ako galit sa kanya, at wala akong karapatang magalit sa kanya. Like I said, past is past at tanggap ko na, that we're not meant to be.

Nalukot ang magandang mukha nito dahil sa pagkunot niya ng noo. "What's that for? Why did you congrats?"

"Uhh dahil kasal na kayo ni Bogum? I want to say congratulations and best wishes! Hindi ko kasi nagawa sa kasal niyo since hindi—"

"Seulgi! Stop! What are you saying?" Kunot noong tanong nito. She looked confused but why?

"Huh? Well, kino-congrats ko lang kayo ni Bogum, oh and, best wishes! I hope magtagal ang pagsasama ninyo. Imagine, you'll finally be able to get the man you truly lo—"

"Stop! What nonsense are you talking? Where did you get that information?"

Napalunok ako bago sumagot. "Kay Babe, I-I mean kay Jennie." I truthfully answered. Pero nag-alangan ako banggitin 'yung Babe kasi tinignan ako nito ng masama. There's nothing wrong calling Jen as Babe, right? Sanay na rin naman ako.

"Well pakisabi kay Jennie, ma—"

Hindi ko na pinatapos ito magsalita dahil may naalala ako. "Oh yeah! Before I forgot your son Iseul is a good and handsome kid. I'm just wondering, nabanggit niya kasi sa'kin na hindi niya pa raw nakikita 'yung Dad niya. So bakit hindi pa niya nakikita si Bogum? And oh, where is he?" Takang tanong ko rito. I look around her office, maybe nandito si Bogum.

I should also congratulate him, at isa pa hindi kaya magselos 'yun if makita niyang nakayakap sa'kin si Irene? Ayaw ko gumawa ng gulo or maging dahilan kung bakit sila mag-away.

With that, I carefully remove her hands na nakapalibot sa'kin. "Irene, don't you think Bogum will be jealous if he sees you hugging me?"

Once matanggal ko ang pagkakakapit nito, tumayo ako and give distance. I look around to make sure wala rito si Bogum, baka magtalo na naman kami nun.

Nagulat ako nang inis na humarap ito sa'kin habang nakalagay ang mga kamay sa gilid. "Hindi ko na nagugustuhan ang mga pinagsasabi mo Hon. Saan mo ba nakuha 'yan? Why are you looking for Bogum? Bakit mo sinasabing asawa ko siya?"

Dahan-dahan akong umatras ng unti-unti rin itong lumalapit. "Would you please stop moving away from me!"

"I'll stop if you don't come closer to me. What would your husband think, Irene? If he sees us close to each other, it's not good. Baka ma misinterpret niya." Sagot ko rito.

Why am I here in the first place? Ah right, pinapatawag nga niya pala ako. But I still don't know what is the reason why she wants to see me.

"Why do you want to see my, btw? May dapat ba tayong pag-usapan?" Dugtong ko pa.

"Yes! And please, seat down para ma settle na natin lahat." Nagulat ako sa biglaang pagsigaw nito. Good thing nakalayo ako kaagad sa kanya, she's close to my spot.

"Stop moving!" Naiirita nitong sigaw.

"No! I'm trying to stay away from you, lalo na't kasal ka na and let me remind you, I'm your ex. Ex shouldn't do what we did awhile ago." Kahit saang anggulo tignan, mali iyon. She's married for pete's sake!

Napahilamos naman ito sa mukha. Halatang nagtitimpi na. "Seulgi, please come here. Mag-usap tayo ng maayos, please. I hate our distance!"

"Irene, we can talk like this. I told you, if sobrang lapit natin mag-usap just like kanina what would your husband think? Syempre magseselos 'yun if makita niya na 'yung asawa niya ay kausap ang ex—"

Hindi ko na natuloy ang sasabihin ko when she shouts "You're not my ex!"

My forehead creased at what she said. "What? What do you mean?"

"Hon, I didn't sign the annulment papers. My world would still flow if I sign that, but I can't bear to see na hindi na tayo; na hindi na tayo kasal. I don't think kakayanin kong makita na iba na ang nagpapaligaya sa puso mo. I don't think kakayanin kong hindi ka na sa'kin, na pagmamay-ari ka na ng iba."

I didn't notice na nakalapit na ito sa'kin, I just felt her wraps her arms around my neck. "I know where have you been for these past years. Hinayaan kita sa gusto mo, but I said to myself, once you came back, I won't let you go."

"Hindi ko hahayaang mangyari ulit na mawalay ka sa'kin. Now that you're here, I won't let you out of my sight. You're only mine, Hon. Only mine." With that, she claims my lips with her.
