Jimin gave and gave all the love until he had nothing more to give.Now he felt hollow, void right in the middle of his heart.His hands were cold against the gravel that led to his home,wet by the downpour over his head.He had been running since his heart broke.running away from the dark clouds,away from his own feelings dismantled over the dinner table of that porsh restaurant.He should have stayed in,he should not have opened his mouth and now he wished for a bit more stamina,a bit more willpower..atleast half of what he had when he made a fool out of himself infront of everyone to pull himself off the ground and make it into his apartment.He could then lock the door and crumble,he could then cry to sleep and pray that he wakes up after days,weeks and months even.Until the shame washes over his mind and skin.

He pressed a hand against his chest as he spilled the tears,camouflaging them into the midst of raindrops.A muffled voice above him caused him to gasp.
"Jimin,get up..hold me"
Jimin's body shook as an umbrella came over his head and he looked up to see the cause of his heartbreak standing over him.
"Go...go away, Taehyung",Jimin swiped a hand in air,a vain attempt at pushing the younger away and Taehyung said nothing.He silently lowered to hook his hands under Jimin's arm,forcing him up.Jimin was lean and small,could easily be manhandled and Taehyung took it to his advantage by wrapping a hand around his waist and holding him close under the umbrella.

"Let's go home,Jiminah"
And Jimin did not like the taste of it,did not like that Taehyung  called his apartment,home.It was not Taehyung's home,not anymore.
"Let me go"
"Can we go and then we can have a proper conversation"
"I can go on my own and I..I don't want to ever talk to you again"
"Jimin-"
"No,and am not ...am not blaming you for my stupid stupid heart.I just don't want to hurt myself anymore",Jimin pushed Taehyung away as he stepped out of the umbrella.
"Even if that means you won't see me ever again?"
And a tear spilled down onto Jimin's hands,"Especially if it means I won't see you ever again"
And then he turned around and left.

The carpets, living room and all the way to the shower were positively drenched.Jimin looked awful,red eyes,damp hair sticking out in every direction and face red.He looked wrecked.He closed his eyes against the reflection and sighed,thinking about the evening's event.

All seven of them had gathered to celebrate Jungkook's return and it had started out silly.Jungkook was just catching up to the updates  he missed,it was harmless and Jimin could not blame Jungkook for asking what was going on with Taehyung.

"Are you dating someone?",Jungkook had asked and Taehyung's hand slipped from Jimin's under the table and he cleared his throat multiple times.The rest of them were silent,were curious just like Jimin why the younger was taking time.Why the younger could not just reveal that he is going out with his bestfriend.Why he couldn't say ,'yes,am dating Jimin'
It was simple and Jimin would say he is in love with Taehyung with no second thought or hesitation but Taehyung was thinking.Taehyung would run it hundred times in his head before answering because it was Jungkook.Jungkook,the bambi eyed maknae that he had a soft corner for,whom he had kissed.Jungkook,who shared a crush back at taehyung but was told no because Taehyung did not want to date within the team.So Taehyung was silent,he did not say anything and Jimin had to look down at the now empty spaces between his fingers.Lonely.

The insecurity crept in,maybe Taehyung was with him because Jungkook was away,maybe he was with him cause..cause,there must be something that had to do with jungkook,maybe to make him jealous and get him to confess again or like a place holder,a trophy to help Jungkook move on.Jimin didn't know what he was so he spoke,"Taehyung,why don't you tell Jungkook that we are dating right now ?"
It sort of slipped,it wasn't brave.It was stupid.A passive aggressive tone to claim.
The whole table had fell uncomfortably silent and Taehyung had given him the look that clearly meant,'not now'.
