Sweet Night analysis cause I have no better things to do and why not!!

As per the recommendation you guys gave me,I'll share my thoughts on the Sweet night lyrics cause why not!
Again it is not to microanalyse the song,or to prove if a ship is legit or anything of the sorts.Here,None of us would ever know for sure Vmin is real or not so am not making a claim either.I am making an assumption instead.It is just my thoughts on the song with regarding to Vmin assuming the song is about Jimin.

Share your thoughts for each lines,I'd love to read it.
(Also I wrote this down to lift your spirits after that last one shot "Fools".Sorry for making you cry)

Let's go:

On my pillow
Can't get me tired

From right off the bat,we get the first clue it could be about Jimin..cause they are  notoriously famous for sleeping together. They have said it multiple times in different occasions.And that includes in korea ,Japan or on any tours.I would back this up with a proof.In  "BTS live after the first Billboard #1",the members are sharing how they reacted to it.And Taehyung shares that he was waiting for Jimin to come for a sleepover.He says he was worried why Jimin was late and called up.This follows silence from the members.Anyways it is not a news and all of the fandom knows.
So I interpret the first lines as in one of those sleepovers.Late night when they should be sleeping,they are talking over pillows.

Sharing my fragile truth
That I still hope the door is open

These nights they share the vulnerable secrets they hold.Taehyung had said it in Bonvoyage ( in Hawaii) and multiple other times (one another instant would be in Hobi's birthday surprise in 2014 ;when Taehyung cries,Jungkook mentions "you got tearless V hyung crying" ,immediately Jimin goes "tearless? He is the crybaby of the group"
Members being unaware that Taehyung cries and Jimin saying otherwise is really telling.

Taehyung also said he shares his deepest thoughts only with Jimin and he understands him the best.And while he shares these secrets,his fragile truths (fragile truths carrying his vulnerability that he is scared to tell anyone else), he wonders if the door is open.

Here door means the pathway to something new.He wonders if a new relationship could happen between them and being in love with Jimin is his deepest secret so he is thinking if it's alright to confess and share it on those nights.

'Cause the window
Opened one time with you and me

Like we have talked about a pathway to a new relationship as 'door',here 'window' represents a smaller chance that existed before.
Sometime in the past,they felt this pull but would have passed it away as an attraction of teenage hormones or maybe something more even that they let pass.He is asking if there is a chance for a relationship now,cause it almost happened before..this could also be like maybe they felt something but fearing their career and where they were back then( a group from small company with a lot of dreams to chase),they weren't ready to venture the spark or the window.

Now my forever's falling down
Wondering if you'd want me now

Now things had changed.Now he feels like he knows what life would bring him.He knows his forever won't hold on forever if Jimin is not here with him so he wonders if Jimin would want him now like he wanted before(the window that we talked about).Gives us relief that at some time before Jimin did want him.

How could I know
One day I'd wake up feeling more

Here's to my favourite line in all of Taehyung's discography.
We are back in bed again in sleepovers with Jimin,he wakes up one day and the feeling is intense as he sees Jimin by him(he sleeps like an angel,his words not mine).The desire for something more with Jimin is stronger and he didn't know he could feel this way ever.He wakes upto his angel sleeping and he falls harder,deeper.Oh Tae,you're a goner!!

But I had already reached the shore
Guess we were ships in the night
Night, night

Let's see what Ships in the night actually means.

Ships that pass in the night means Two or more people who encounter one another in a transitory, incidental manner and whose relationship is without lasting significance; two or more people who almost encounter one another, but do not do so.Often said of people who meet for a brief but intense moment and then part, never to see each other again. These people are like two ships that greet each other with flashing lights and then sail off into the night. From a poem by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.

So two people encountering and experiencing something and going away forever.If we do not take it in the full meaning,it would not necessarily mean going away.
' Cause the window opened sometime  with you'.
This line means there was something there for sometime and going away could be about just falling back to the friendship.As conclusion it happened once before and he wants more of it.

Reaching the shore means Taehyung has decided ,his heart is finally sure that Jimin is the one.Means Jimin's ship is still out there sailing  looking for a lighthouse of sorts..where tae already reached.

I'm wondering
Are you my best friend
Feel's like a river's rushing through my mind

Everyone knows Taehyung has only one best friend and that is Jimin.He mentioned it in multiple times like in 'Let's BTS','2019  festa' and several other instances and interviews.So when he asks are you my bestfriend,he means are you only my bestfriend (or something more)? Because he feel like a river rushing through his mind..like something exciting,like something is coming alive in his heart for the said bestfriend.I don't know what words could suffice more...His heart flutters,butterflies in stomach..so and so.

I wanna ask you
If this is all just in my head

He wants to know if this was all just what he only feels.He wants to know if this feeling is real or if he just made them up in his head,whether Jimin feels it too or is he imagining all this and that Jimin might be in love with him too.He questions himself being delusional.

My heart is pounding tonight
I wonder

We are back in bed.He felt something more that morning when he woke up and the night has come where Jimin is with him again,close to him in the dark room again and all thoughts he had is just mush and it's just Jimin and Jimin is all around him.So his heart quickens.

He wonders as Jimin falls asleep if he really there with him.If Jimin does really exists.I back this up with Taehyung's live where he says that Jimin told him "I want to be  a support to you and give you strength" which unleashed all the arrows charged with pent up emotions from his heart(my heart is pounding tonight)  and he goes onto how can I fight with an angel.In disbelief he wonders can all this be perfect ?Too good to be true!

And would it be alright if I
Pulled you closer

And here we are back at that possibility of the door opening,the relationship happening.So tonight Taehyung is a little brave and he asks if he could pull Jimin closer(consent is sexy).It also means he confessed and wishes to know what Jimin thinks.If you love me the same,shall I pull you closer to me!!
He confesses that he didn't know how he could wake up and feel something so deep,so pure.Realization and confessions basically!!

The Last lines are chorus again where it's repeating but this time he worries if they will be just ships in the night and never meeting again.So he prays Jimin would reach the shore too..to him!
