Not too long after the drinking contest, my sister was definitely getting tipsy. She was giggling more than usual and even willingly asked for another drink. Of course I had to give it to her, we had a cover we had to keep. So she drank that, plus the half of a beer Violet offered when we met up, and turned into a mess.

I'm a fucking idiot.

I was thankful that everyone else seemed to be too drunk to realize she only had two sex on the beaches and half a beer before turning into a party animal, but I still didn't like the fact I'd pretty much gotten Alice drunk for the first time. And when she was drunk, she was...me. Well, more or less. She was more outgoing, she was even getting along with Calum, and she actually wanted more beer and to go dance. I was happy she was having fun but I feared I may have created a monster.

"Hey, what's that look for?" Ashton wondered, running his thumb over the space between my eyebrows.

I looked up at him. "What look?"

"You look worried," he chuckled before looking where I was looking before: at my sister. "about Alice, apparently? You said she's gone to tons of parties. Why are you so worried?"

I shrugged and quickly tried to come up with something. "Just...scared she might not get along with my friends, I guess."

He nodded slowly as I stared at him and he stared at Alice. "Okay, but she's literally grinding on Luke and Calum right now sooooo, I think they're getting along great."

"Wha-" my head snapped over to where Alice was standing.

Lo and behold, she was sandwiched between two of my best friends, swaying her hips with theirs. I clamped my hand over my mouth as I watched her place one hand on Luke's shoulder in front of her and hook her free arm around Calum's neck behind her. There was no way this was actually Alice; my sister who never partied or danced with anyone in her life.

Ashton laughed and looked back at me. "That's kinda weird, huh? Never thought I'd see the day Luke and Calum shared a girl without getting super dominant."

I slowly lowered my hand and nodded slowly, not able to look away from the three of them.

What if they have a threesome?! With my sister! Oh my god!

Luke said something to Alice and Calum and then walked off. He didn't seem disgusted or bored or anything, though, which I guess was a good thing. He probably had to pee or wanted to play more beer pong or something. Alice didn't really think much of it, she just continued to dance against Calum.

"She has no idea what she's doing..." I mumbled to myself.

I knew that Alice would never actually get that close to anyone, especially in a way like that. She just never did things like that with people. If she even remembered any of this in the morning, she'd kill me. I was the one who got this hole started for her anyway. Sure, we both were the ones who were digging it deeper, but I was the one who said she was a party animal in the first place. I should've just said she hated getting drunk! They'd understand; Violet was the same way!

"You're still worried," Ashton said, moving in front of my view of Alice and Calum. "I can tell."

I shrugged. "A little."

He smiled and leaned down to kiss my nose. "C'mon, let's go smoke up a little. That'll help you relax."

Calum had taken responsibility of Alice as soon as we'd gotten to the party. He knew he was supposed to be taking care of her. Calum was one of my best friends and I completely trusted him. I knew he wouldn't fuck this up or let Alice get into any serious trouble.

I nodded hesitantly. "Alright. Let's go."

"Another beer?" Calum asked as he led me over to the kitchen again, holding my hand in his.

I grinned and followed behind him, bumping into a few people. "Yes please!"

He got some from the keg this time, filling two cups with it and handing one to me. I put the cup to my lips and started drinking it like I had during the drinking contest. Finishing it in seconds, I set the cup back down on the counter by Calum and he laughed.

"You do go hard." he nodded, re-filling my cup and handing it back to me. "Go easier on this one. I know you only had like, four, but you probably shouldn't drink that fast all the time."

I took a sip and Calum rolled his eyes in my direction. I was about to start complaining that I hardly even drunk any yet when I heard that familiar, annoying voice behind me.

"Hey, Alice." Ross greeted.

I turned around, almost falling on him which made me giggle a little. "Hey."

He grinned and placed his hand on my shoulder to balance me. I felt Calum put his hand on my back and I knew he was probably glaring at Ross.

"You alright there?" Ross chuckled. "How many beers have you had, champ?"

I tried to think about it but I couldn't remember. I just remembered I kept wanting more. Alcohol tasted good and it made me feel not so left out. Calum and Luke started liking me, and even Michael talked to me a little bit, I think.

"Does it really-" I hiccuped and giggled again. "concern you?"

He shook his head and kept laughing at me. "Nah, I guess not. Someone should probably get you home, though. I'll drive if you like, since Calum's obviously not in a driving state."

"Actually, we're staying here for the night." Calum informed him, stepping forward. "I've got her under control, thanks."

He glanced at Calum and then looked back at me like Calum hadn't even said anything. "Maybe you'd just like to go for a drive or something then? Might be fun."

"She doesn't-"

"Jeez, does Alice never get to answer for herself?" Ross groaned.

"I wanna stay here," I decided after probably ten seconds of me staring at my cup like I was trying to solve a math problem. "and dance with Calum again."

Ross grimaced and rolled his eyes. "Whatever. Calum isn't half as great as I am."

"She seems to think so." he smirked before Ross turned on his heels and stalked off.

I looked up at Calum and giggled. "You're not that great."

"Yeah, whatever, Ackerman Two." he laughed, playfully rolling his eyes.

I brought the plastic cup to my mouth again and took a couple gulps.

"Alice, slow it down." he advised.

My fingers felt like rubber and I dropped the cup. I looked up at the crowd.

"Alice?" Calum asked, sounding concerned.

I started seeing black, and Calum calling my name was the last thing I heard.
