"No! No fucking way!" Calum shouted, shaking his head.
I easily placed my hand over his mouth - he decided to literally lay next to me in my bed - and told him to shush. "Can you not yell? A nurse will come in and tell you to leave. Or Amy will."
"I'm not going on a double date with you and Luke!" he whisper-yelled once he'd taken my hand off his mouth. "I'm not out yet and I'm not rushing it."
"I think that if I can deal with the entire school thinking I'm really a boy, you can handle coming out." I told him. "Plus I already told him that's the only way I'd let him take me out again."
"That was involuntary." he pointed out. "If no one found out and told everyone, would you actually have told anyone besides Michael by now?"
I nodded. "Yeah, probably."
"You can't say yes to that," he sighed, "you've changed a lot in the passed few days. You're not as closed off and shy anymore. If you were the you from last week, you wouldn't have."
I groaned and rested my head on his shoulder. "Please? I'll ask Amy and Ashton to go too. Then people won't think you're with AJ, they'll just think we're doing, like, a group thing."
"I'll still have to come out to everyone...," he mumbled, not sounding happy, "but I guess that's not as bad as what you went through."
"So you will?" I grinned.
He got out of bed and went to the door. "I'll retrieve the squad."
Within seconds, the room was full of my friends. Luke sat in the seat by my bed again while Calum retook his place laying next to me. Ashton sat down in the other seat by my bed, letting Amy sit in his lap, and Michael perched himself in the windowsill.
"So the doctor said you can go home tomorrow if you don't get sick again or have any more seizures." Amy told me. "And Violet said they found very very small traces of molly in the water so you must've drank it immediately after it was spiked."
"What about Ross?" I wondered.
"They won't have any evidence that it was him." Michael sighed. "Vi promised none of us would get in trouble for it but they can't get him in trouble either without proof."
I frowned and chewed on my lip. It sucked that Ross got his friends to drug me - after thinking about it, I realized his friend looked worried because he must've thought Amy would drink the water he spiked and not me - and he wouldn't get in any trouble. My parents now had to pay off another hospital bill because of him.
"On a brighter note, I have some news." Calum announced, taking his beanie off of his head - I'd only seen him without a beanie once so I still found it odd seeing him without it on - and playing with it in his hands. "For the passed five, no, six months now, I've been dating someone."
Michael smiled softly from where he sat and looked out the window to hide it.
Luke furrowed his eyebrows. "You have? Why didn't you tell us before?"
"Well...," he said slowly, "because it's a dude."
"I didn't see that coming..." Amy said to Ashton under her breath.
"So are you gay?" Ashton wondered.
He scoffed. "Fuck no, I still love girls. I'm bisexual."
"Who is he?" Amy asked.
"His name's AJ and he goes to our rival school so we met at a soccer game." he explained. I listened intently because I didn't even know the story. "I went because you know I love to brag about how I can play ten times better than anyone on our team, and he's actually co-captain of his team. He was...good. Actually, the only decent player on the field."
