"How was school?" I asked as Amy walked into my room.

I was pretty much over the whole Luke thing by now. Did it still kind of hurt because I liked him? Yeah, of course it did. But I wasn't going to mope around about it longer than I had to. I told myself to get all of it out of the way before Amy came home.

She shrugged. "Fought with Luke a little, skipped with Mikey, and I think Violet almost ripped Luke's lip ring out of his face."

I sat up and chuckled. "Seriously? Are you all mad at him?"

"Well duh, he called you a dude," she said, sitting down beside me, "and Violet's seriously offended since her mom is transgender. Luke's fucking with the wrong person."

"You know I can take care of him by myself." I told her, sitting crisscross and playing with my fingers. "He probably won't stop anyway unless I tell him to. He's used to you being bitchy but he's never seen me bitchy."

She laughed. "He won't be able to handle both of us being bitchy."

Walking into school the next day was a little weird. I hadn't been in school since Thursday when Ross told everyone I was actually a boy so of course a lot of people stared at me. I wasn't dressed like Amy either, I was dressed as me. I wore a baby blue sundress, a grey sweater cardigan, and white flats with my hair curled. I knew people would probably make jokes about "oh look, it's a boy in a dress," but I didn't really care anymore. After thinking about everything the day before, I realized that even if I was a boy in a dress, I still rocked it better than any other guy here.

Amy and I went to our hallway and saw everyone else was already there. Violet was standing against the opposite wall as Luke with Michael by her side. Ashton and Calum stood sort of in between Luke and the cousins even though Luke was on his phone and not paying any attention to them.

"Well don't you look pretty today, Allykins." Calum smiled when he noticed Ashton staring passed him at us and he turned around. "How are you?"

Luke glanced up at me but went right back to his phone.

"I'm good." I nodded. "No breakdowns or anything. I'm getting good at handling this."

"Well, you shouldn't really have to 'handle it'." Ashton said slowly with a shrug.

"Yeah, you're still a girl." Violet said, putting a hand on my arm. "People shouldn't be giving you problems for nothing."

"It would be cool if everyone would stop throwing shade at me." Luke sighed, not looking up from his phone.

I looked over at him. "No one would be throwing shade if you didn't act like an asshole."

To that, he didn't reply. Calum bit down on his lip to keep from laughing while Ashton widened his eyes at me like, did you really just say that? Amy nudged me as a way to tell me I did good by standing up for myself, Violet grinned, and Michael snorted, not caring that Luke looked up to glare at him.

I didn't want to fight with Luke but I knew I couldn't be nice to him if he was going to treat me the way he was. He was even ignoring everyone because of me. They all sided with me and thought what Luke said was wrong. You'd think that would say something, right? But no, Luke was stubborn and stuck by what he thought about me.

"So what time are we meeting Ross?" Amy suddenly asked Michael.

My head snapped toward her. "You're meeting with Ross today? Why?"

"You." Amy replied shortly. "Michael was supposed to talk to him about leaving you alone but he spiked Mike's drink with molly. That's why he was all weird on Sunday."
