I didn't tell anyone about what I saw, including my sister. I was embarrassed for even seeing it myself and I knew my sister would make endless jokes about it if I told her. I obviously wasn't going to tell Luke because that would probably just make it even more awkward. Although, I did have a dream about it that night which already made it ten times more awkward than the situation already was because I actually enjoyed it. Yes, I liked Luke but I didn't want to think of him like that. That would lead to things happening that I didn't want to happen.

My phone rang the next morning while I was laying in bed and thinking over my dream. I grabbed it from my nightstand and looked at the ID. Of course, Luke's name popped up.

"Hey." I breathed when I answered the call.

"Hi!" he replied a little too happily for nine in the morning. "You wanna do something today?"

I shrugged. "I guess so. Like what?"

"The pool at Michael's is open," he suggested, "we could go swimming?"

"Just us and Michael and Ashton?"

"Just us. Ashton has work and Michael's with Violet today."

"So they don't know we'd be at their house?"

"Probably not." he laughed. "It's not like they'll care anyway. C'mon, it's gonna be hot today and they won't mind. Please?"

I sighed and got out of bed. "Alright, fine."

"Good, because I'm already in your driveway." he giggled.

I quickly went to the window and saw Luke's red car sitting in the driveway. I ran a hand through my hair and shook my head. "We're not even dating and you're already super clingy."

"What can I say? I'm a hopeless romantic."

I rolled my eyes and laughed. "I'll see you in five."

"I'll be waiting." he replied before I hung up the phone.

I rushed to put my bathing suit on before putting on a black t-shirt and light blue cutoff shorts. I slipped on some sneakers before rushing downstairs and taking my pills.

"Mom, I need more pills!" I called up to her. "I just had the last of them!"

I didn't get a reply so I just wrote a note and left it on the counter. I also mentioned that I was going to Michael's with Luke. I didn't bother saying I was going swimming because my dad would probably have a fit since he didn't exactly like Luke yet. He just didn't forgive him for what he said to me.

I left the house and jogged to Luke's car, getting in. He greeted me with a smile and began to back out as I buckled up.

"Good morning, sunshine." he said happily.

"Hey," I smiled. "Oh, um, can we stop at Dunks and grab something to eat? I'm supposed to eat breakfast with my pills or else I start feeling gross."

"Yeah, no problem." he shrugged as he took my hand and laced our fingers together.

He drove us to Dunkin Donuts while he played Habits by Tove Lo and attempted to sing to it. He had to get really loud to hit a lot of the notes in the chorus which was kind of funny to hear since he was practically shouting. It was also great singing the reactions by people in other cars when we'd be stopped at a light or something because Luke was singing way too passionately for a normal person.

We got to Dunks and we went through the drive thru. I asked him to get me a toasted bagel with strawberry cream cheese - he made a face at that and I told him to shove it - and a medium mocha swirl iced coffee. He got himself a medium french vanilla iced coffee and like, three donuts. As we drove up to the window, I handed him money for my food.
