Chapter 26: Peter

"Doc,"

You're in your lab, doing your job when you heard your secretary calling.

"Yeah?"

"It's Sir Draco."

"What? They have an event today. What the hell is he doing here?" You got up and walk out of your lab.

Outside is Draco and Harry.

"My love, we need you in the hall." Draco said. There's worry in their faces.

"Why? What happened?" You asked and adjust your glasses.

"A baby is choking. We're too scared to do anything. What if we hurt it." Harry respond.

You three hurry to the hall. As you enter, everyone is off their seats worriedly looking to one of the round table in the hall. The baby is laying on the table. It's almost blue.

You started to check everything and perform a first aid respons.

They all worry and watch as you grab a chair and sat down. You took the baby and support its neck by one hand and lay it stomach first on your arm.

You started to give the baby a back blow making the other people worry.

After 5 back blows, the obstruction hasn't come out yet so you turn the baby and give it chest thrusts.

With the 3rd chest thrust, the baby finaly throw up a carrot cube.

Its mother gasp and let out a sigh of relief.

The baby started to cry and so you handed it to its mother.

"Thank you! Thank you so much!" She said and give you a hug that caught you off guard.

"You're welcome." You said and give her a short hug back before instantly pulling away.

"Thank you, sir." She turn to Draco and Harry.

Draco give Harry a look and Harry handled the lady while Draco gently whisk you to the side.

Hermione held your hand and you went with her.

"Nice save, doc." Hermione said and you smile.

"I didn't expect something like this would happen." You said. "But expect the unexpected, I guess?"

Hermione nod and lead you to their table.

"Have a seat, join us." She said.

"I know your the Minister but... You also know I have work to do." You said.

"Oh come on, Y/n. Join us for lunch! You're always working and working!" she sulk.

"I promise to join you after I finish the test I'm conducting, how about that?"

"Fine!"

You chuckle and left the hall.

You decided to go to the wash room first to wash your hands and also to relieve yourself. You enter a cubicle and did your business when you heard the door open.

"That doctor Y/n they are calling," you heard a voice saying your name. "She's such a weirdo. Have you seen her dress other than her lab coat?"

They laugh.

"So pathetic. Sir Draco is so patient towards her. She's weird and all. Remember when she got missing and got adopted by muggles? She also adopted their schedule of being over worked and forgetting to have fun. I've heard that muggles put their work first than their love ones. So selfish!"

"Just watch, sir Draco will be bored to her sooner or later."

They all laugh as you hear them close the water and leave the washroom.
