PRESENT
"HEY Y/N" madelyn said hugging the girl. her and chase picked you up from the airport, making the excuse that they we're "seeing" maddies family.
"hi maddie" you smiled hugging the girl back. chase brought you into a hug next and the trio ventured into the car.
"so once we get there me and maddie will walk in first and then you walk in behind us because if rudy is still in the same spot his back is facing towards you" chase explained. you were excited to see rudy, it's been awhile since you two were together.
"you ready?" maddie asks getting out of the car. you nod your head and hear your phone go off
you turned your location off for rudy so he wouldn't know where you were, that didn't stop him from texting.

maddie and chase brought you up to the apartment where everyone was. you took a deep breath and made sure to take your shoes off before you got in.
maddie places her finger to her lips once she saw madison notice you were there. you walk over to rudy and loosely wrap your arms around his neck. he goes to shove you off but he notices the bracelet he got you for your second anniversary.
"holy shit" rudy whispers turning around. you feel yourself getting lifted up and you laugh and hug rudy back.
"hi rudes" you laugh. rudy sets you down and you notice tears in his eyes
"rudy" you laugh hugging him again. he releases the hug and turns away laughing
"let me compose myself" he said. that caused everyone in the room to laugh, they've never seen rudy that happy.
"is that why you turned off your location" rudy asks wrapping an arm around your shoulders. you nod your head and look at maddie and chase
"their idea" you shrug walking over to where rudy was sitting. he follows you and places himself right beside you
"i got to give it to them, that was a good surprise"
