Alex began to toss and turn in her sleep as her dreams replayed the death of her best friend and family. "No please, please, don't kill them... No no DON'T-" she screamed as she jolted out of her sleep. She took a deep breath as she slowly sat up, "Great. The nightmares are back...Let's just get this day over with" she said as she walked out her room to start her morning routine.

While she was getting ready she decided to look up any job openings in town. "Let's see...oh, and art teacher at the high school. I could do that, plus it's not like there is a lot of work involved like math, ugh."

After finalizing her decision on the art teacher position she made her way to school. "Hi. My name is Alex Russo. I saw online that there is an opening for the art teacher position here. I'd like to apply." She said to the lady at the front office.

"Okay. When do you think you could start?"

"I could start today if you'd like."

"Perfect. We've been looking for someone to fill this position for ages. Okay so, if you'd just fill out this paperwork and I'll show you where you'll be working."

Once she filled out the paperwork, she and the secretary began to walk towards where she'd be working."

"Okay. So this is the classroom you'll be working in. It might need to be cleaned up a bit before the kids start coming in. I hope that's okay."

"Oh that's fine, it shouldn't take to long to clean up."

"Alrighty then. Here's your schedule with all the classes and kids you'll be teaching this semester. Good luck."

"Okay. Thank you."

Once the lady left, she checked to make sure the coast was clear before waving her hand around to magically clean up the classroom.

'I'm surprised you'd want to be a teacher.'

'Me too, to be honest. But this job doesn't require too much menial labor. And I like art so it shouldn't be too bad. I hope.'

Once she finished that thought, she heard the bell ring, signaling that the students would be there soon. As the students began to file into the classroom, she noticed a couple of them looked familiar. 'Where have I seen them before? Oh right, they're the kids from the diner yesterday!'

As she finished her thought the bell rang signaling the beginning of class. "Hello everyone, my name is Ms. Russo. And I'll be your new art teacher for the year."

Bonnie's POV

As I walked to class with Elena, I had a strange feeling that something was going to happen today.

"Hey Bonnie, are you okay? You started spacing out a bit."

"Hmm...oh yeah I'm fine, I was just thinking."

"About what?"

"I've been having this strange feeling like something is going to happen today."

"Something good or something bad?"

"I don't know, just something."

"Hopefully it doesn't have to do with Klaus. I don't think I'm ready to deal with that just yet."

"Yeah hopefully." I mumbled back as we walked into class and made our way to our seats. Once the final bell rang to start class, I looked up in shock as the teacher began to speak. "Hello everyone, my name is Ms. Russo. And I'll be your new art teacher for the year."

'Oh my gosh. That's the lady from the Grill yesterday. What if she's here for Elena? Maybe Elena was right about this feeling I've been having. This can't be good. I need to let her know.'

Once class ended I grabbed my stuff and Elena and quickly walked out of the classroom.

"Bonnie. Hey Bonnie. What is going on? Why did we leave the class so fast?"

"Did you not notice? The new art teacher is the same lady from the Grill yesterday. I think you were right about my weird feeling for today. She might be working for Klaus."

"Okay. We need to tell the others."

"Right, we should all meet at the boarding house after school to discuss what to do."

Alex's POV

All throughout class I've been noticing the newbie witch keep glancing at me with a mix of shock, fear, and worry. 'Huh. I wonder what's wrong with her?' Then when the beep rang for the end of class she grabbed her friend and quickly sped out of the room. 'Okay. Now that is really weird. Whatever, I don't really care that much.' With that I decided to go look for a vending machine to grab a snack before my next class when I noticed the newbie witch and her friend whispering to each other in the hallway. 'Now I'm curious.' I waved my hand in the air allowing me to hear their conversation.

"-ice? The new art teacher is the same lady from the Grill yesterday. I think you were right about my weird feeling for today. She might be working for Klaus."

"Okay. We need to tell the others."

"Right, we should all meet at the boarding house after school to discuss what to do."

'Interesting. Why do they think I'm working for Klaus though? Eh. Whatever.'

I began to continue my walks to a vending machine when I felt myself bump into someone. "Ugh not again. I'm sorry for bumping into you."

"It's alright. But shouldn't you be in class?"

"Uh no. I've already graduated. I'm the new art teacher."

"Ah sorry about that. It's getting harder for me to tell people's ages. I'm the history teacher here. My name is Alaric." He said as he held out his hand for me to shake.

"Hello Alaric, my name's Alex." I said as I shook his hand. But once our hands touched I noticed a strange feeling, like two souls living in one body. I quickly let go of his hand, "Well Alaric, it was nice to meet you, but I should probably start making my way back to my classroom before the next period starts."

"You're right. See you around Alex."

With that I continued to make my way towards a vending machine. 'Huh. That was weird. Hey Death?'

'Yes..'

'Can the witches here put someone's soul into another person's body here?'

'Yes actually many do it. It's especially good for infiltrations. Why?'

'Because I just felt someone who had two souls in one body. And you know what, I think it might be this "Klaus" person those kids are so scared of.'

'Really huh. This town is getting a lot more supernatural creatures by the minute.'

'Very true.' I said back to Death as I walked into my classroom. 'Let's get the rest of this day over with.

At the end of the day, I made my way back to my apartment to relax. "Ugh. Dealing with teenagers all day is so stressful." I said as I laid across my couch.

'You do realize you're still a teenager yourself right?'

'Technically I'm 20, I just look 18.'

'Yeah, yeah.'

'I'm just gonna take a quick nap.' As I finally felt myself about to drift off into sleep, I heard a knock at my door.

I decided to ignore it hoping they'd go away, but they just kept knocking.

"Ugh. I'm coming, I'm coming. Jeez." When I opened the door, I was in complete shock to see my ex boyfriend standing there looking as pitiful as ever.

"Hi Alex."
