"Why did you guys have those weird looks on your faces when Bonnie mentioned an old and powerful witch on the other side?" Alex asked.

Rebekah and Kol looked at each other before shrugging and simultaneously saying "No reason."

"Hmmhmm..." Alex said as she looked at them with a mom glare. The longer she stared, the more nervous and fidgety they became.

Soon Kol gives in, "We think that the old witch the witch mentioned is our mother, the one that turned us into vampires."

"I thought as much, Death told me." Alex says as she sighs and nods her head.

At hearing this the siblings look at each other before Rebekah replies, "What do you mean 'Death told you'?"

"Just what I said. I asked Death for some advice on how to help Bonnie and along with the help, he mentioned that the old witch was you guys' mother."

"Then why did you ask us about it when you already had the answer?" Kol asked.

"Well, because I had hoped you guys would trust me enough to tell me yourselves, which you did."

Kol smiled and said, "Of course we trust you, darling. You're probably the best thing that has happened to me and the rest of my siblings."

Rebekah nods her head in agreement before saying, "Yeah Alex, without you I don't think I'd be as close to my brothers as I am now. You've changed all of us for the better. Especially Kol." "Hey! What's that supposed to mean?"

"It means you were a psycho-killing maniac before."

"I still am!"

"Yes, but not as much. You've calmed down...a lot. Plus you're like a house husband now."

"I'm just going to ignore that," Kol grumbles.

They continue to bicker back and forth. Alex looks back and forth between them smiling as they continue to bicker before bursting out laughing. She clutched her sides as tears began to fall from her eyes.

Rebekah and Kol looked at each other smiling warily before both asking, "Are you okay?" "What's so funny?"

After a few minutes, Alex's laughter calms down and she replies, "Nothing it's just...you guys' bickering is hilarious...And I'm glad I met you guys."

The Mikaelson siblings smile widely as they stand up and pull her into a group hug, all parties happy and feeling like they finally belong somewhere.

Soon they separate and Alex takes a deep breath before saying, "Well as fun as this has been, I'm starting to get tired. So if you'll excuse me, I'm going to get ready for bed."

Rebekah nods and says, "Goodnight Alex. See you tomorrow."

"I'll join you in a bit, darling." Kol says. He stares at her until she makes it into her room and closes the door. Once he hears the shower going, he turns to his sister and says, "I need your opinion on something."

"Hmm? What's up Kol?" Rebekah asks.

"Well, I want to take Alex out of town for a few days, just to get away from everything. Do you think she'd like that, or is it too soon?"

"No, she'd definitely like that. I don't think it's too soon at all. So where are you taking her?"

"I don't know yet. I'll probably let her decide so that I don't take her somewhere she won't like."

"Good idea...and Kol, I am happy for you. Truly." She says, smiling sincerely.

"Thank you Rebekah. You're my favorite sister." Kol says.
