Chapter 14

Alex and the Mikaelson siblings make their way out of the school to the parking lot. Klaus sighs and turns to his companions saying, "Well, now that I have more of Elena's blood and Mikael has been dealt with, I am going to go on another werewolf finding excursion. Would any of you like to join me?"

Alex shook her head saying, "Pass. I think I've done enough werewolf hunting to last a lifetime. But have fun, I hope this goes well for you this time around."

Klaus nods his head in thanks and understanding before turning to his siblings.

"I'll stay too and keep Alex company while you do your traveling brother."

"I figured as much, what about you Rebekah?"

Rebekah thinks on this for a few more minutes before declining, "I think I'll stay as well. I want to get to know more about Alex since I haven't really gotten the chance to...If that's okay with you." She said, turning towards Alex.

"Of course that's fine. I wouldn't mind that at all." Alex said smiling.

"Okay then. I guess I'll be going. And make sure that Stefan watches over Elena and the rest of the 'scooby gang' I don't want any more mishaps."

They all nodded in response before wishing him safe travels. Once Klaus leaves, Rebekah turns to Alex and asks, "So where are we going to live?"

"Umm...I actually have an apartment, it only has one bedroom though."

"Do you mind if I sleep on your couch then?"

"No, I don't mind. That's totally fine."

"Awesome, thank you Alex."

"No problem." Alex says before teleporting them all to her apartment building. Once they arrive outside of her door, Rebekah and Kol, so full of curiosity and excitement, try to enter her apartment. Before they can, Alex quickly stops them saying, "Wait! I have wards all around my apartment to prevent people from barging in. I have to grant you guys access first."

Rebekah and Kol quickly jump away from the door and sheepishly look down before simultaneously apologizing.

Alex laughs slightly at the sight and says, "It's okay, just let me grant you guys access real quick."

Once she grants them access, they make their way into her apartment. They all settle in the living room area when Rebekah looks at Alex and asks, "So what is there to do in this town?"

"To be honest there isn't a lot. Maybe you could enroll at the high school, it might be a good experience since I'm guessing you've never been to one before. Plus it would make it easier to keep an eye on Stefan since he's a student there as well."

"What is high school like?"

"Well, it's a place where teenagers go to different classes to learn about stuff like history, math, science."

"Well that sounds dreadful."

Alex chuckles at this and says, "Yes it definitely is, but that's only part of it. You also get to meet different people, some of which might become your friends, you may even find someone better than Stefan. It can be fun."

"I guess that sounds fun. What about you? What will you be doing during the day? Are you a student too?"

"Oh god no. I've had my fill of being a high school student already. But I'll be at the high school as a teacher."

"Awe, I wanted us to be in the same classes. But at least I won't be completely alone. What do you teach?"

"Art."
