Meygan Davis

Meygan Davis- Dutch/Irish ancestry; Meygan Davis is Kirsten Lundgren's best friend, forming a trio known as the "Three Kittens" alongside her and Sharidan Tellez-Hodge. She is considered to be timid and impressionable by comparison to Kirsten, as well as kinder and more passive in nature, although she is easily influenced by others and can potentially do cruel things. She is a member of her school's poetry book club and participates in the yearbook staff, in addition to being one of the better science students in her grade. She founded her school's environmental club and likes to bird watch as a hobby, in addition to being on the cheerleading squad and playing on the volleyball team. Meygan grew up sheltered by an overprotective, but well-meaning father named Jonathan, who became wary of her interactions with boys following her abusive relationship with an ex-boyfriend. She is also fairly close to her mother and looks up to her as a role model, often observing her as she performs household duties and joining her in baking cookies together. She tends to be very nurturing and often puts other people's needs above her own, leading her to always see the good in others. There are times in which she can be quite sneaky and dishonest however, as shown in her propensity to join her friends in gossiping about their peers. Meygan is often perceived as sweet, well-adjusted and sociable, as she genuinely enjoys talking to people, although she tends to have a bit of a mean streak. She likes to follow trends and is known to conform to her friend group's beliefs, causing her to be quite active in social movements. She is a thin-skinned girl who is fairly extraverted and described as being smart and funny by her friends, having the capacity to make anyone laugh. She tends to be on the chubby side however, which makes her a little self-conscious, but mostly tries to hide it by choosing not to wear a lot of revealing clothing. 

Meygan first befriended Kirsten in the first grade when they were both placed in the same classroom alongside Sharidan, and she was immediately intrigued by her confidence and good looks. The two spent much of their childhood playing at each other's houses and would annually host sleepovers together, during which Meygan decided not to speak up when seeing a new girl being targeted and bullied. Even so, they have a genuine connection and have been loyal to each other for much of their lives, with her being one of the few people to be aware of Kirsten's troubled home life and eating disorder. She also comforted her best friend during a difficult time in her life when her parents got divorced, leading him to be estranged from her family since she was 6 years old. Meygan also has a good relationship with most living things and helps out at a flower shop that is located near her neighborhood in her spare time. She likes to wake up early to do yoga and is learning how to play the ukelele, and her family owns a yellow Volkswagen Beetle that will officially be hers when she is 16. While she is considered pretty by many of the boys in her grade level, she likes to wear make up in order to allow her best features to stand out. She also has a slight interest in fashion along with her female friends, although she tends to dress in a sporty way in her downtime. Meygan is a generally perceived as a bubbly and effusive young girl who makes it her goal to leave a positive impression on everyone. She is unaware of the fact that she can be demanding, overly controlling, and slightly self-absorbed, but she has moments in which she can be quite humble. She made her mission to one day become the first woman to colonize Mars and placed 2nd in the science fair with experiment on emoji analysis. Despite her shortcomings, she usually realizes when she's wrong as well and quickly tries to make up for it, due to her good heart. 

Meygan can also be quite moody at times, a trait that she attributes to her partial Irish ancestry from her father's side of the family. She can be rather stubborn and tends to appear more hardheaded on occasion, causing her to not accept advice well and be hesitant to be told what to do. She is very studious however and often performs well academically, earning mostly As in her subjects despite receiving a C in history. She likes to help others for the most part and has surprisingly good listening skills, in addition to doing volunteer work in her community. Meygan has similarly shown that she has an interest in the opposite sex, sharing a fondness for Justin Timberlake along with Kirsten and having a celebrity crush on Orlando Bloom. She takes part in the Pleases and Sparkles club with the other girls after school and was crucial to the creation of an infamous list that ranked all of her male classmates in terms of cuteness. She has a hidden side to herself that can be very spiritual, as one of her favorite games to play is "Light as a feather, Stiff as a board". She enjoys fortune telling in her spare time and can often be found musing about her future, as well as romanticizing possibilities. Meygan also has poor time management skills, as according to her former boyfriend Erick, she takes nearly an hour to get ready. She occasionally procrastinates when it comes to certain tasks and has moments of laziness, which are evident in her tendency to delay her chores despite her mother's insistence. She has progressively become more confident in her opinions however, which has made her appear more vocal and willing to take decisive action than before. She tends to wear her heart on her sleeve as well and is known to have a highly expressive face according to her loved ones, which makes her a person that is easy for others to read. Meygan was deeply affected by the circumstances of her past relationship with Erick Montenegro, during which she became isolated from society and subject to emotional abuse. 

She doesn't like to discuss what happened too often but admits she was in therapy for a few years, where she learned her coping strategies and how to mellow herself out. She became much more irritable throughout the course of her relationship with him and feels that she essentially lost a part of herself back then. Her negative situation was also reflected in her slight weight gain when she became depressed and began to overeat, although her family's support encouraged her to stand her ground and find happiness again. Meygan has subtle quirks that are unique to her personality, as she still dips her french fries in sweet and sour sauce, and the only person who knows is Kirsten. Her favorite color is honey yellow, which is shown in the gold covered bicycle with a peacock theme that she decorates for herself when deciding to participate in the bike parade. She starts a bake sale at her school where she brings the students together to prepare danishes for Denmark in order to help build their website known as Troll Trace, which aims to identify the real identities of trolls. She was addicted to social media for a while and was a frequent contributor on Twitter, but decided to distance herself from the internet for some time and dramatically threw her phone over a bridge. Meygan's struggles have made her more compassionate and allowed her feel empathy for those who have gone through similar experiences. She has gradually begun to branch out at school and tried to connect with other students, forming a close friendship with Lilah Lovey, whom she realizes shares many of her same interests. She tries to find creative ways to benefit the planet and improve the world's living conditions, encouraging her classmates to understand the benefits of tiny homes to lessen people's imprint on the environment. She also prefers to ride her bicycle to school alongside her friend Sharidan rather than take public transportation, considering the bus to be "stupid" and "smelly". 

Meygan is a teenage girl who has straight medium-length hair with a fringe that falls to her shoulders and is a dull light brown shade, brown eyes, and a light complexion. She stands at 5 ft 4 in tall and has an average build compared to her female friends, with some stretch marks being found on her outer thighs. She joined a few of her classmates in photoshopping themselves and tried manually enhancing her back area due to her concerns that she was "flat". She is a lacto-ovo vegetarian, meaning she doesn't eat meat, fish, or fowl but will consume dairy and egg products, and she will sometimes break her own rules and indulge in cheesy poofs. Meygan is one of the few people whom Kirsten genuinely cares about and goes out of her way to be nice to, regarding her as the only true friend that she has. The two girls often join with Sharidan on certain days of the week to wear a specific color or theme of clothing, such as purple on Fridays, and are always uttering the phrase "Scandalous!". Her favorite show to watch is Pretty Little Liars, and she is likewise a fan of the popular TV sitcom Friends, having seen the entire series on repeat several times. She can also be a bit goofy and clumsy at times by her own admission and is often considered to be the smartest of the clique. While Kirsten and her friends are all equally antagonistic towards their classmate Hannah Quigley, Meygan has rare moments in which she can actually be sympathetic to her and has previously worked on a science project with her. She shows a desire to attend Georgia Tech once she graduates high school and claims that she would like to become a Civil Engineer. She works as a bank teller for a few years while finishing school and moves to Tampa, Florida as an adult where she works for a firm.
