Ramona Muñiz- English (mother); Chilean (father); Ramona Muñiz is a multifaceted young woman whom begins dating Cason Hughes upon meeting him during her time spent in England. The daughter of a Chilean immigrant and British mother, she marches to the beat of her own drum and is often known for her zest for life, as well as her innate curiosity. From a young age, she maintained a close relationship with her father and aimed to be accepted and understood for the person she believed herself to be. She was raised in Birmingham and pursued a degree in Hospitality & Hotel Management as she became older before finally settling down in the Sutton area of London. Ramona is often recognized for her competitive streak, as she openly channels her anger into a sense of superiority and attempts to one-up the accomplishments of those around her. She is a sneaky, smart, and sometimes ruthless woman who is a natural-born leader and skilled at art, especially spray paint art. Though she is compassionate, she is also vengeful and does not forgive others easily, as shown in her interactions with her prim and proper older sister Beatriz. Despite this, she is not necessarily immoral, as she is simply misguided and her "mean girl" facade is mostly an act, likely because she does not want to be seen as weak in her mother's eyes. As a child, Ramona was clever, lively and creative and frequently found drawing in her bedroom or reading books in her spare time, doing well in school despite being a poor speller. She was described as a spontaneous girl whom was often willing to try anything once, blowing as hard as she could into her straw while drinking lemonade just to see what would happen. The middle child of three sisters, she often felt overlooked among her family members and was initially seen as being rather sweet, innocent and submissive to Beatriz and the older girls at her school.

Her longtime best friend since primary school has been a girl with long blonde hair named Whitley Bamford, whom she first befriended when she was 9 years old and enjoys watching soap operas such as Eastenders with. Ramona was also imaginative growing up and was shown to be playful and talkative, having a fascination with her classmate and long-term rival Bo's springy blonde girls. Her older sister used to describe her as the "cheerleader type" due to her enthusiasm, and she would be especially affectionate with those she cared about. Her loud, passionate personality led her to be regarded as a "pest", although she was ultimately a well-meaning and sincere girl at heart. She had a dog named Ranger but especially loved cats, considering Nepurrtiti, her kitten to be her most beloved companion and feeling a void in her heart when her cat passed away from old age shortly before her 10th birthday. Ramona became roommates with Whitley, whom attended college in order to become a veterinarian for much of her youth. The two of them would often play dress up together as children, with her coming to Ramona's rescue when she accidentally ends up pulling down the rod that the shirts were hung on and putting a hole in the wall with it. The girls bonded when she was the new girl at school, during which she invited her to share corn chips and half her brownie at her house and helped her out with her math homework. She has always been protective of her and come to her defense, standing up for her and calling Bo out on her snobbish, perfect attitude when she nearly ruins her party upon refusing to eat the cake due to claiming it was contaminated with germs. Ramona isn't fond of beautiful surroundings or anything pink, calling them "gross", but she does sometimes wonder about how life would be like beyond the British Isles.

She at one point considered pursuing as a career in fashion marketing and has worked part-time as a receptionist for a medical office. While her space isn't necessarily small, she can't help but buy a bunch of space-saving ottomans and coffee tables with hidden storage compartments. She has since abandoned the traditional bed frame and instead opted to place her mattress on the floor and cover it in an array of printed throw pillows and blankets. Ramona is a dedicated person who participated in many extracurriculars growing up, where she spent much of her time writing, acting, and singing. She seemed to favor script writing, as she wrote plays and managed to get them produced entirely through Beatriz' efforts and once wrote a letter to an accounting firm in regards to their use of contractions and improper grammar. She seems to prefer to star in works she both writes and directs, and these works included an unnamed TV series where she plays the main character and her evil twin. She also has an interest in cars and thematically named her dolls after popular car models, most notably her childhood dolls whom she named "Chevrolet" and "Bendix". Ramona is not particularly academically skilled either, but she is often told by her superiors that she is not meeting her full potential. This continually causes problems with her best friend, as she is able to waltz her way easily through life while Whitley has to work for things Ramona attains via her charm. Her mother and father are on the boards of all major charities and organizations in the city, meanwhile her younger sister Georgia attends Brown University. She also has a nail-biting habit and tends to cut her split ends off, mainly during her classes whenever she is on campus.
