"Good Morning Miss"
"Good Morning, and it's Mrs. Jha"
"Nice to meet you, Mrs. Jha. Have a seat and Mr. Raizada will be here soon. Can I get you anything to drink?"
"Thank you but I am fine"
The assistant left Anjali alone in the meeting room. She looked around the office. No wonder he offered this much for their small studio space.
"Good Morning Mrs. Jha, hope I didn't keep you waiting?"
Aranved entered the meeting room with Aman. Arnav scanned the room and realized Anjali was alone.
"As expected"
"I am sorry, did you say something Mr. Raizada?"
"No no, nothing. So Mrs. Jha. You have decided to go against your sister and close the deal?"
"I am sorry for her behavior Mr. Raizada, she can be stubborn like that"
"Oh I know about that"
"You do?"
"I mean, she used to work for me so I have seen a thing or two"
Aman was shocked by this new Arnav. He has been working for Arnav for a while now and he has never seen Arnav this chilled in a meeting.
"Now, I took initiation of preparing a new agreement Mrs. Jha. Aman, can you please ask someone to send us some coffee when you leave?"
"Sir, do you want me to leave?"
"Isn't that what I just said"
Aman gathered his files and left the meeting room while Anjali looked around to see what just happened.
"A new agreement? But Mr. Raizada, we have already agreed to the price. Why do we need a new agreement? We sell our property to you and you pay us the amount we agreed"
"You two are very capable of selling things out fast aren't you?"
"What do you mean?"
"Sorry, ignore that. But yes, I think we both can benefit in a better way"
"I am hearing"
"Mrs. Jha, if you sell this venue I will pay you a one-time amount. But how would you like to have ongoing income from the venue?"
"Can we do that? I mean, that would be wonderful. But I need to check with Khushi about this"
"Look, Mrs. Jha, I am a busy man. Your sister already cost me one day yesterday and I have to go back to Delhi tomorrow morning"
"Let me hear your proposal first and then I will decide Mr. Raizada"
"Ok, so what I think is that this venue is too small for the business Mr. Thakur wants to do. So I can easily find him a new venue that will tick all his check boxes"
"But then what about us?"
"Mrs. Jha, let me finish. I have been planning to invest in something new for a while now. So how about we make this writing studio an open studio?"
"Open Studio?"
"Yes, a place people can book for small gatherings, classes, activities, etc. An empty studio space that is available according to customer needs"
"That sounds good. But how do we make money?"
"Look, I will be an investor only. Management of this place is solely yours. I will only charge you 10% of the earnings. Whatever you earn, you pay me 10% of it. And don't worry, I will give you a four months grace period so that for the first four months, you don't have to pay me anything"
