Arnav woke up in the morning and his left side arm and body felt numb yet heavy. He tried to move his body only to feel something or rather someone pulling him back. That made him open his eyes and what he saw was nothing but perfect.

Khushi had her arms wrapped around his left arm while her head was on the side of his heart. Half of her body was covering his left side explaining why the numbness. Arnav's mind went back to the previous night's incident.

He remembered how they met Anjali and how sad Khushi was when they got home. He remembered helping her on the bed, how he lay down next to her and how he didn't move his body so that Khushi could sleep without any interruptions.

Khushi on the other hand woke up before Arnav and found herself wrapped in his body. She couldn't sleep properly last night and saw what Arnav was doing. Any doubt she had about having a future with him disappeared like a grey cloud. A man who would rather give pain to himself by sleeping in the same potion the whole night just to make her feel comfortable is not someone who can hurt her.

They have had a bitter past but not once her hurt her knowingly. Even the fight they had regarding the pregnancy was just the heat of the moment. Lavanya and Akash told her how he looked for her and how his dad manipulated her by showing fake proof about her taking money.

Ahaan is going to be in their lives from now on. Not how she expected but as Arnav said, they have to respect Anjali's final wishes. Rather than keeping her in a hospital bed for the remaining time, it's better to let her live the way she wants. One thing she knew about her sister is that she never gives up. If she had even a little bit of hope, she wouldn't have given up like this. Maybe she is in pain and she no longer can take it.

"Good Morning"

Aranv broke the silence.

"Good Morning, but how did you know I was up?"

"Khushi, your eyes may be closed but I saw them moving to mean you were up and thinking"

"I was thinking about Didi"

"What do you think we should do?"

"I think you are right Arnav, we should respect her wishes. I don't want her to live in pain just because of my selfish feelings"

"Khushi, they aren't selfish. No one wants their loved ones to leave them. But when we know living will give them extreme pain then it's best to let go. At least we can make us feel better knowing she went without having to go through extreme pain"

 "I heard chemo is hard"

"It's really painful Khushi. But it's worth going through that pain if the end result is less painful. With Anjali, the end result is more painful than chemo, so let's help her in ways she wants us to help"

"Thank you"

"For what?"

"For being with me, for taking care of me and for guiding me"

"Khushi, you would do the same for me so no thank you. You don't have to be formal with me. We crossed that bridge long ago"

"Arnav, can I ask you something?"

"I would love to answer all your questions but first can I move my body please?"

Khushi saw she was still holding on to him while talking. She quickly let go of him and Arnav straightened his body. Then he pushed himself against the headboard and pulled Khushi toward him wrapping his arm around her waist.

Khushi was taken aback by that gesture. She was expecting him to either move away or get up. But instead, he did this making her heart melt.

"Ok, what is that you want to ask"
