Aranv, Akash, Payal and Shalini witnessed the most emotional family reunion ever. Ahaan was looking around to decide what he should do. Should he go to his mother and aunty to join the two strangers or should wait out here with the people he knows?
"Nanna Shalini, who are they? And why are they hugging my mama? Do they not want her to go to heaven?"
"Ahaan, my darling. They are your grandmother and grandfather"
"But they never came"
"They were very busy before so that they can spend as much time with you when your mama goes to heaven"
"That is good. I don't want Mama to stay here in pain. Now I have more people to play with so mama can be happy"
"Yes, my dear. Your mama will be so proud of you"
It was an emotional afternoon for everyone. Khushi's father left Raizada's house promising to be back the next day while Khushi's mother stayed back to help Anjali. They were impressed with Shalini on how she took care of their daughter and grandson when they most needed it.
Khushi's father offered to take Anjali and Ahaan with them but Anjali was against it. First, because she didn't feel well enough to leave the bed and second reason being she wanted Ahaan to familiarise himself with Arnav, Khushi and Aranv's family. As much as it hurt, she couldn't avoid the truth.
It was a full house at Raizada house. Since her mother was sleeping with Anjali, Khushi turned to Ahaan hoping she could sleep in his room to avoid her feelings toward Arnav. Unfortunately, Ahaan was already sleeping with Shalini making Khushi go back to her bedroom.
"Ah, what a surprise. Do you need anything, Khushi?"
"This is my room as well, so I don't need a reason to come to this room"
"Glad you remember that"
"What do you mean?"
"Khushi, when we decided we should give this marriage a chance, this was not in my mind. I hoped, giving this marriage a chance means we are giving each other a chance"
"That's what we are doing Arnav"
"That was what I did but not you. You kept on avoiding me ever since Khushi"
"I...I....."
"What I..I..., answer me damn it. I know it's a lot. Anjali's situation is getting worse so you need time but there is Ahaan. If we can't have a stable relationship with each other, how can we provide Ahaan with a happy family?"
"It's not like that Arnav. I have my own issues"
"Enlighten me, Khushi. I don't want to look like an idiot who goes after a thing knowing it's not mine"
"Arnav, please, you are taking it all wrong"
"As I said, then tell me what's wrong? Is it me? Did I do something? Is it my family?"
"It's not your family Arnav"
"So it's me then. What did I do Khushi?"
"It's not you either, it's me"
"Ah, the famous smooth phase. Look, Khushi, I don't want to force you for anything. I am in love with you does not mean you have to feel the same way. If you want out, let me know. We'll figure out a way together"
"Aranv as I said........."
And it suddenly hit her.
"Wait, what did you say?"
"That we will figure out a way together"
"No, before that"
"That I don't want to force you for anything"
