"I am sure you must have impressed him a lot in that meeting you attended last week Khushi"

"I don't know Lavanya. I feel bad to accept this"

"You deserve it. That's why ASR gave you this chance. We'll still be working together and you being his personal executive, I will get more time to delegate the other issues. He is your problem now"

"I feel like I should have said no to the position. I feel bad for you"

"It's fine Khushi. Hard work always pays off. I am telling you this as a friend, do not affect by the things you will hear"

"What do you mean Lavanya? What things?"

"There is this gossip going around in the office that you must have seduced ASR to get such a good opportunity in such a short time. But I know how hard you worked. So don't get affected by them. People will say no matter what. You know how you got this and that's what matters"

Khushi never felt so disgusted about herself as she now. Lavanya is such a sweetheart, she is there to support Khushi and what Khushi did was go behind her back. She wanted to tell Lavanya that whatever she was hearing is correct but because of the promise she made to Arnav she couldn't.

"Khushi, what happened to you? Please I told you, do not let them pull you down. Those people have no better thing to do than point fingers at someone. They are jealous"

"It's not that Lavanya. Can I ask you a question?"

"Yeah, go ahead"

"If you know you did a mistake but yet you continue to do that, would that make you a bad person?"

"Umm, it depends. Does that mistake harm you or others?"

"Let's say it harms yourself mostly and the other person who is supporting you in that mistake"

"So no random innocent person is getting hurt?"

"Not that you know of"

"And Khushi, are we talking hypothetically or..?"

"Just hypocritically"

"I guess, if it only harms you then it does not make you a bad person. But it will make you a stupid person for sure"

"True, stupid is the word"

"Khushi, is everything okay?"

"Yeah yeah, don't worry"

Saying that Khushi went to prepare herself a cup of coffee.

"Make one for me as well and bring it to my cabin"

Khushi saw the text from Arnav and looked around to see how he knew she was in the kitchen making coffee but she couldn't find any sign of him. Therefore, she prepared a cup of coffee and took it to his cabin.

"Welcome my personal executive. Where is your coffee?"

"I thought we can share"

"True, sharing makes love grow"

Arnav walked towards Khushi and pulled her towards him and kissed her left cheek. Khushi however was not in a mode to any romance. After the discussion with Lavanya, she felt alarmed. Khushi pushed Arnav before saying,

"Stop it, Arnav, and you really need to control your eyesight. Don't try to look me around or else this won't be a secret much longer"

"You need to check your eyes Khushi, which I must tell are very beautiful with the morning glow. I wasn't looking for you. I saw you walking to the kitchen and the rest is common sense"
