Shyam leaned onto Anjali for support. This cannot happen. He made sure they never meet. Arnav hated Khushi and Khushi would rather kill herself than be with Arnav but now they are engaged?

"What happened Jiju? You do not look happy about my news"

"Khushi, you can't blame him. When you suddenly come to our house with your boss and say you are his fiance, how do you expect us to react?"

"Didi, you were the one who always told me to let go of my past and move on. Now that I am finally moving on, you are complaining"

"I am not Khushi. I am really happy for you. I am glad you finally let go of your past"

Saying that Anjali came forward to hug Khushi but was stopped by Shyam.

"Shyam, what are you doing?"

"Have you gone mad Anjali, she cannot marry him"

"Shyam? Why are you acting like this?"

"Didi, give Jiju a chance to explain, he must have a good reason if he says so"

"Don't try to act smart with me Khushi. You know what I am talking about and Mr Raizada, I hope you know too"

"Shyam, what are you talking about? How do you know Mr Raizada? and Khushi, what is this?"

"Mrs Jha, please let your husband talk. Neither Khushi nor myself knows what is he talking about"

"Anjali, believe me, these two are onto something. You cannot let them marry"

"But why Shyam?"

"Yes Jiju, why?"

"Go ahead Mr Shyam, tell us why?"

Shyam couldn't take the pressure anymore.

"Because I promised his dad they both will never be in each other's lives and he paid me lacks to do so"

"What?"

Anjali couldn't believe her ears. She knew her husband is not a saint but she never thought he would sell himself to ruin her only sister's life.

"Shyam, what have you done?"

"I am sorry Anjali, I didn't mean to hurt anyone"

"Khushi, can you explain what is going around here?"

"Didi you may want to sit down for this"

Khushi helped Anjali sit down and started telling her the story from the beginning. Arnav on the other hand made sure to keep an eye on Shyam because he cannot be trusted.

"You were the one who ruined my sister's life? I thought you are a good man Mr Raizda"

"Mrs Jha, I am ashamed of myself for what I did. I shouldn't have to leave Khushi like that but in my defence when I calmed down and wanted to talk, she was gone, or rather plotted away"

"Didi, it's not his fault completely. I almost sold myself to his dad"

Khushi then explained how Anirudh offered her money to leave Arnav and how she considered taking on that offer before she got to know about the pregnancy.

"Where does my husband come in between all this?"

"Until recently, we didn't know he was. But now we know he played a main role in making sure I never see Arnav"

"Khushi, what are you talking about?"

Arnav walked back to Shyam and held him by his shoulder.

"Mind elaborating Mr Jha?"
