Chapter 25

"Aman, I need help with something"

"Yes Sir. What would you like me to do?"

"Can you track down this transaction?"

"Sir, this is almost 4 years old and I don't think we have any related documents in the office"

"I want you to contact the archives and dig it. Then track this until you know who exactly used this money. Understood?"

"Yes Sir"

"And Aman, this has to be between you and me. No one, including Lavanya, shouldn't know about this"

"Understood Sir. Don't worry"

Arnav vouched to dig deep to find out what exactly happened here. Someone has been using this money to get rich by ruining Khushi's name. That someone must be recognized and punished. 

Arnav waited for Aman to leave his cabin and took his mobile out. 

"Hi Sheetal, do you have any plans tonight?"

"Arnie, my baby. You know I can never be busy for you"

"Great. I have a surprise for you. Can you meet me at the XYZ restaurant at 6.00 pm?"

"I will be there. But please tell me what's the occasion so that I can dress accordingly"

"Let's say, I am going to unravel something big for you"

"Oh my god Arnie. Are you finally going to set a date for our wedding?"

"Sheetal, it will be a surprise, so please come on time"

Arnav hung up and planned his evening activities. He booked a table for two. Then he called an unknown number to explain to that person his plan. Sheetal will have the biggest surprise in her life tonight. He then took his phone again and called the private detective he hired. 

"Any news?"

"Mr. Arnav, I am about to send you a file about the person you wanted to know"

"Ok, but give me a brief update"

"That person is a genuine and hard-working middle-class person. But recently exposed to a large sum of money. The lifestyle and living situation has changed drastically. For a person who was under a low-income bracket, it is suspicious how this happened. But as I promised, I found out everything. It is all in the file I am about to send"

"Thank you. No character flaws?"

"No. Good credit rating and no criminal history"

"Good. Send me the file and your payment will be processed today"

"Thank you, Mr. Arnav"

Arnav took his car keys out and called Lavanya.

"Lavanya, I am leaving a little early today. Cancel all my remaining meetings"

"You only have one meeting left with the Marketing Manager"

"Ask Khushi to handle that meeting"

"Khushi?"

"They both will know what to do. Do not transfer me any calls. Take a message and tell me I will get back tomorrow"

"ASR, is everything ok?"

"Yes, something personal I have to deal with"

"Sheetal?"

"Lavanya, do as I say"

Arnav hung up the call and left the office. Today he will end this Sheetal chapter. It is the right time to make it straight. Sheetal is not someone who can be confronted. So it has to be done in a dramatic way. As much as Arnav hated his own plan, he knew this will be the only way he can make her talk.
